Although my vision was a bit fuzzy, I still remember him smiling so sincerely. I played with his messy, bed ridden hair as he pulled in for a slow, affectionate kiss. No lust, no desire, just love. It felt so unreal, but it was real...right? I looked around confused, the sun was out, kids were screaming playfully, and I heard a faint mew. Ringo?

Ringo. The tabby cat looked beatiful as ever with sleek grey fur and big round green eyes, as I reached out to pet her, I remembered. It was raining last time I checked.

And with that, thunder, ringo was deformed, mangled, the last thing I ever saw of her. Droplets of water pittered softly on the windshield. My body tried jerking up in fright, but yet I couldn't move. Barely having the ability to see, as blood still trickled down into my eyes. I realized that I'm still in the car...the car. The little red toyota. I, never got out... I looked to my right and see over a hundred creatures swarming the car. Then my left reveals the same. The little car rocked back and forth from the cannibals trying to get inside. Yet again, I did nothing. What could I do? And millions of other questions exploded in my mind, but one stayed. And rang so loudly I could scream, but still laid motionless.

Did Tom just leave me, for dead?
