Leaning my back against the sofa, I took a quick glance at the huge grandfather clock standing against the wall, 5:30 p.m
There's still a few hours before dusk and I didn't have any productive things to do while waiting for dinner so I might as well go for a stroll. I got up and exited the house through the front door, not caring I was clad in my white shirt and pyjama pants.
Since the place was built near hills where it's far from the closest civilisation, the gardener planted a whole lot of flower plants on the hills, creating a beautiful scenery.
It would be around this time where I'd be grateful for the gardener's acts. I walked around the fields and hills as I admired the flowers and feeling the petals glide in between my fingers, inhaling the scent of the light smell emitted by the flowers.
I happened to take a different path than normal and gradually found myself in a wooded glade. The sky's vibrant yellow slowly subsided to pinkish purple signalling that the sun was setting.
"Oh no, it'll grow dark soon" I mumbled as I scanned my surroundings. I spun around to go back the way I came but a glimmer close by caught my eyes just as I was about to leave.
I took another look at the sky again. "I'll just see what it is then I'll leave, it wont even take a minute " I promised myself, moving closer towards it. The more I inched towards it, the more I could see where the glimmer was coming from.
It was coming from a ring of grass. I cautiously made my way over to it and instantly saw a group of males with breathtaking visuals dressed in white flowy clothes that looked so delicate.
It shocked me to the core to be seeing things like these especially when you're at a glade, I mean it's definitely not the kind of place where you'll randomly stumble upon good looking guys.
It appeared to me that these people or creatures were dancing hand in hand, round the ring. I was so amazed to see such a thing going on in this place that I didn't realise that my feet were moving closer to them.
Suddenly, one of them, silver-haired snapped his head towards me and I gasped as my hands flew up to my mouth to cover it from letting out a sound.
To my absolute surprise, once again, he actually smiled and called to me, "Come and join the dance!" Dumbfounded by it, I stayed glued to my spot not certain whether I should accept his offer or not.
While still in a trance, the same person called out again, "Come dear, don't be shy" he giggled. His words made me do a double take and I wondered if I heard him correctly.
"Dear? Uhm I don't even know this guy and here he is calling me dear? He looks to be around my age too, does he not feel awkward by it?" My thought disappeared when a hand gently pulled me with him to join the circle.
My mind was not done processing the current situation I was in and having to spin around in a circle with guys who I haven't even seen in my life did not help, at all.
I admitted it, it did not take me long to actually have fun and giggle along with them. It made me forget that I was supposed to head home.

that shirt is what these creatures wear at the glade
