Jungkook

It felt so out of place to be hugging a stranger so close to me, let alone ride a horse with him. My fear of falling off was eased by the smell of lavender that I figured came from his hair blowing in the wind.

After several minutes of riding away from the glade, I could not bottle up my curiosity anymore and gathered the mettle to ask the prince about our destination.

"Hey um prince, where exactly are we heading to?" It felt weird calling somebody by his status and I regretted asking him because I sounded so dumb.

His head partially turned to face me and laughed, "Ah yes, call me Taehyung please. Apologies for not telling you my name before". "As for your question, it's a secret. You'll see when we reach there"

His face was so close as he said those words, I felt my face heat up at the lack of distance in between our faces and moved my head back a little intentionally looking away from him while still holding onto him tightly.

Seconds later, a small hill came into view and as if by magic, the hillside parted open and the horse and riders went inside. I was undoubtedly shook by it.

"Oh my lord how did that happen?" i exclaimed. Taehyung simply replied with a grin and the horse slowly galloped in between the parted hill, a strange looking forest coming into view.

As much as it looked odd, I couldn't help but to be amazed at its own beauty where there were silver trees that looked as if they were shining by the light they reflected.

Another thing I witnessed that I was certain I could never forget was how the fruits that hung elegantly from the trees appeared. They looked just like glass and gave off a pale light.

Deeper into the forest, I could see a number of female fairies playing all kinds of instruments such as harp, flute and a violin. The music they played was so calming that it made me forget about my fear of unusual places.

All around, fairy folk danced gracefully to the enchanting music while I stayed at the side with my hands behind my back, smiling as my head swayed a little to music.

Taehyung

From afar, I was watching the boy getting astonished by almost everything he laid his eyes on. It amused me, no doubt and frankly speaking, I did not regret bringing him here.

He looked so happy, already beginning to get used to his surroundings around him, unlike others I've brought here. With a soft smile plastered on his face as well as the dim lights illuminating his features, I felt warm inside.

A firm voice pulled me out of my thoughts, "The table is ready, Prince Taehyung" The head chef informed me and I nodded before he wasted no time going back into the kitchen.

Not wanting to interrupt Jungkook in his moment, I waited for several seconds before gently pulling his hand with me to the long oak table. He was a bit taken aback by my gesture but I was relieved when he chose to go with the flow.

I chose a seat for him where he'd be seated next to me and I waited as the waiters moved around to serve the guests, holding plates piled high with cakes and candy.

I had started digging in when I realised Jungkook made no effort to move, only scanning his eyes at the steaming food laid on the table. I nudged him, "Hey don't be afraid, just take as much food as you want Jungkook"

His reluctance didn't seem to fade but he pushed it away by hesitantly grabbing a piece of roasted chicken and slowly nibbled on it.

Moments passed and I looked at him, in adoration almost, while he ate all kinds of things as his eyes lit up occasionally at whatever a performer was showing.
