Jungkook
I rubbed my hair dry just as I exited the bathroom. It took me by surprise when I saw my brother, Namjoon on our shared king bed, scrolling on his phone.
"You're back early tonight, Joon" I mumbled. "Mhmm 'cause I missed you" he winked. "Yea yea of course you did, that's why you're on that phone" I shot back.
I sat on the edge of the bed beside him and brushed my hair as I looked into the mirror across me. From the mirror, Namjoon smirked knowingly at me.
I responded by squinting my eyes not understanding his motives. Namjoon instantly dropped his phone and pulled me by the hips, leaving me no choice but to lay down by him.
I let out a small yelp, obviously wasn't expecting him to do so. "What the freak Namjoon" I glared at him. "Aww I missed you dear baby brother" Namjoon cooed.
He hugged me real tight and put his legs around me moving them like a worm with spasm. "I missed yuhh" he purposely kissed my hair repeatedly.
"Eurgh go away ya nasty" I pushed him. "Ah you know you love it" he continued to wiggle me around in his embrace. I guess he does know some things about me, I'll give him that.
I gave up trying to put up a fake fight and hugged him back, permitting my eyes to close for a few seconds. I did my best to enjoy one of these rarest moments with my sibling.
I depended on my heart to remember it always for I couldn't count on my brain all the time to memorise these things that made me feel genuinely loved.
"I don't love it, I just don't mind it" I defended."Whatever floats your lies" Namjoon snickered. I rolled off the bed and asked, "Not having dinner Joon?" He spared me look before getting up to retrieve his towel.
"I'll be down in minutes, just needa wash up first" I nodded and skipped downstairs where Jo was setting up the food at the dining table. "Take your seat Jungkook I'll go grab the plates"
I sat down while trying to contain my exuberance and bounced my leg. Jo appeared soon with plates in her hand and sat in front of me, "You look jumpy tonight" she grinned.
"Go on tell me what you saw" Jo urged me while she scooped my rice. "So I decided that I'd take a walk in the nearby forest..."
"And then just out of nowhere, a guy came lookin' like a full course meal!" I exclaimed, my rice now flying everywhere due to my vigorous hand motions.
Around this time, Namjoon already came down to join us and listened in to my story, looking dubious as ever. "So you're saying you met a whole lotta flying people right outside in that forest?" He pointed towards the window where it overlooked the now, dark forest.
"Fairies Namjoon and yes I really did see them okay?" I pressed my voice not seeing the point of explaining anymore. "Told ya you shouldn't have taken too much cocaine sis" he stroked my hair jokingly acting concerned.
I flicked his hand, "We all know the only one who does cocaine in this house is you" I hissed. "Boys, quit it. And Namjoon honey don't say that to your brother"
He just hummed, giving no mind to it and got up to put his plate in the sink. Jo eyed him until he disappeared behind the kitchen's door and lightly tapped the table.
"Maybe I'm crazy for saying this but I think what you witnessed and experienced was very much real" the look she gave contained a hint of uncertainty but at the same time wanting to believe me, badly.
"Really, you do?" I searched her features to see if she only said it to play along but i was relieved when I could see that she was being legitimate. Jo nodded.
