Ashzenny’s POV
Malapit na kami sa pinagmumulan ng bonfire…it’s quite dark that’s why we decided to stay for a camp. Tutal yun din naman ang plano. 2 days hiking and 1 night for a camp. Luckily, may camping materials dun BNF’s house.
“hey look! Malapit na tayo sa bonfire. Maybe there are also campers in here? You think so? Come on guys…” – I said.
When we finally reached the place where the bonfire is…my whole body suddenlt froze…I can’t move even an inch…why? Bakit ‘sya’ nandito? Bakit din sya nakayakap kay … “besty…?”
Ayesha smiled at me. She doesn’t know a thing about this. She’s so innocent at wala rin syang malisya…that’s the reason…
I smiled her back as she runs towards me and give me a warm hug…
“hi besty~! Bakit kayo nandito? Nagha-hiking din ba kayo?” – she’s smiling while asking that.
“ah…yes besty…by the way----”
“yow ash! Tell me. Anong kinaen mo kanina at ganyan ka kahyp---” – naputol ang sinasabi ni Ranzel when she saw me…and Ayesha-girl
“wow! What a coincidence! Guys! Natagpuan ko na si Ayesha! Wala bang pabuya dyan? Hahaha.” – ranzel look back waiting for the others to come.
Nang nandun na ang lahat, everyone gives Ayesha a warm hug. Yes she’s always be the most valuable treasure of our group. In her simple ways, she always makes everyone happy. At sya lang din ang nag-iisang napapangiti kami sa pamamagitan lang ng simpleng ngiti nya. while they’re busy chitchatting with besty-girl, sandali ko na muna yung pinutol.
“besty, can we also stay here for this night?” – me
“ah, wait…oy Renz! Okay lang ba?” – he looks back to ‘him’ Lorenz Ezekiel Aragon. My ex-boyfriend. But nothing to worry with me, I already moved on with him…
But wait…renz??? Bakit renz??? No one ever dared na tawagin sya sa ibang name bukod sa Lorenz or Ezekiel? But now, pumayag sya? Wow! How nice. Wala talagang ibang makakahindi kapag si Ayesha na ang gumawa.
Ezekiel just nodded as a response. So, that’s what makes every one happy. Each one of us started arranging up our own sleeping bags. we’ve got two big tents. One for the girls, and the other for the boys.
When suddenly, I realized something dahilan para mapahinto ako sa ginagawa ko. Naramdaman ko din na pati sila ay huminto din. I look at them with a curious face. And also see curiousity in their eyes…
“guess what. Mukhang pare-pareho tayo ng tanong sa isipan ah.” – the silence was been broken by Heiji…
Yeah, I think so. All of us just smiled, at ako? napatungo na lang na naiiling. Then I stood up as they passed me… paano ka mananalo sa lotto kung hindi ka tataya? In other words, paano namin malalaman ang sagot kung hindi naming itatanong? That’s the easiest and only thing para mawala ang curiousity na ito…
We’re getting nearer and nearer kila Ayesha. I saw Ayesha smiling. But her smile was a lot more different when he’s with Ezekiel. They’re just chitchatting when they suddenly stop and look at us. Lahat ba naman kami ay pumunta ditto. Malamang sa malamang, maramdaman talaga nila…
I just smiled to Ayesha then I looked to Ezekiel na sa ibang direksyon nakatingin. Haay nako, katulad pa din ng dati. Never na tumingin ng diretso sa iba…but…she looks Ayesha straight in the eye, and also while smiling!? This is the very first time, na kahit sa akin ay madalang nya din yung gawin…whoah…could it be---???
