In this chapter, I will outline the expected timeline of this award!

October 25: deadline day for submitting forms. after this date, this award will officially be closed!
October 26: i will PM judges the books they will be judging. remember, you only need to read the first five chapters of each book! (unless you're judging short story and there are less, which is acceptable)
October 26-November 26: judging stage! judges will be given a month to read their assigned books and give scores. judges, you will PM me the scores on this account. i expect you all to turn in your reviews on time since i'm giving a lot of time for you guys.
November 28-30: during these three days, i will collect the results and organize them to figure out who are the three winners in each genre! i will also be preparing the prizes for the winners.
December 3-4: i will post the winners in this book for each of the genres. the way the winners will be posted is the books that placed second and third in their genre will get a small shoutout page while the book that places first will get its own shoutout page. prizes will then be awarded to the winners during these two days.

and that will be that! the 2017 hidden gems awards will be over around early december (if everything goes to plan).
i will most likely be following this timeline very closely. however, if anything changes, i will make sure to make appropriate changes to this timeline!
