A/N - Sorry for the late update. I was busy with my school work. So, here you go.

Logan’s P.O.V
“What about Tacos?”
“No”
“Okay, Pizza?”
“Hailey, no. Think of something which is less suspicious.”
“Burritos? Or Coke? No, wait. That sounds as if I’m offering drugs. What about Burg-“
“Hailey? Let’s not keep the code word a food item okay? What about – ‘I didn’t talk to Matt today’?”
“Hmm…that’s pretty good. Let’s keep this one.”
“Thank you.”
Confused? Let me explain.
It is ten in the morning and with Karla gone for work, Hailey and I were watching T.V with my head restin’ on her lap. We were having a discussion on whether we should tell about Karla about us and well, we finally decided not to because then I would not be staying here if we told her the truth. We figured we need to come up with a code word so that we can communicate freely.
SO, I didn’t talk to Matt today = I wanna speak to you in private, come up to my room and we will have a talk (yeah, sure. “Talk”)
After last night’s unplanned confession, I felt lighter. I was surprised at myself and overjoyed that Hailey felt the same way about me too. This feeling was new and I’m not really planning on letting this get away from me any.freaking.soon.
“Are you even watching this?” she said, poking my cheek and pointing towards the T.V.
“Nah. I was thinking about you,” I said, getting up from her lap and looking at her. She looked amused.
“Wow that was cheesy. I’m breaking up with you.” She joked.
“You are breaking up with me because I’m cheesy? Haha. What a great reason to break up with me. Also for the record, I wasn’t being cheesy. I was telling you the truth. I was planning to kidnap you so that you can forever stay with me,” I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her towards me. She sighed.
“Well, be my guest. You know, I was just wondering what I, what we would do once your parents come back from New York.” she said, biting her lip, looking sad. Great, now I made her sad. Need to work on this…
“Hails?” I whispered, softly. She looked up at me and at that moment I actually felt my heart being all – ‘No. Nope. Too beautiful. Can’t take it’
I steadied my breath and started speaking. “We have 2 months left. Let’s not worry about that for now, okay? Let’s make the most of the time we have left. ” She nodded and smiled at me.
“Okay. Let’s never bring that topic up. So, what should we do now? Want more ice-cream?” she asked, giving me a peck on my cheek. I almost said yes but then I stopped myself. I mentally hi-fived myself at the plan that was forming in my brain.
“I was thinking maybe we should go out and play Frisbee?” I asked, sweetly and she gave me a look.
“Really? Frisbee? You want me to play Frisbee? Don’t you know that I’m the poster girl of ‘clumsy’?”
“Haha, I like it when you be all sarcastic. You’re funny. Now, let’s go play,” I said, getting up, quickly grabbing the Frisbee from the cupboard and practically dragging her out of the living room to the garden.
