I said bye to my parents and joined Jack and Jonah in the car. I got in the passenger side and wiped my eyes. Jonah offered me his hand and I took it.
Jack leaned forward and plugged up his phone to the aux cord. He blasted Why Don't We's playlist and we all danced and sung along. We got to the hotel and only Jack got out.
"Have fun guys!" Jonah drives off and I have never been so confused.
"Jonah, where are we going?"
"On a date."
"Why?"
"I can't take my wonderful girlfriend on a date to show her how much I love her?"
"Well yea, but I need to change into something nicer." Jonah looks over at me and scans my outfit.
"I think you look perfect." I bite the inside of my cheek and look down " Heyhey, look at me." We had come to a red light. I looked into Jonah's eyes "It doesn't matter what you're wearing for you to look amazing. You look beautiful in anything." Jonah connected his lips with mine. His hand was placed on my cheek and his thumb moved back and forth caressing my face. We slowly pull apart and continue staring into each others eyes.
Cars started to honk behind us and Jonah looks out the window. The light had turned green. Jonah drove off and placed his hand my bare thigh. Even though his hands were cold they were still comforting. I placed my hand on top of his and we stayed like that until we got to... the beach? Jonah parked the car and I was about to get out when he stopped me.
"Wait! I have to put a blindfold on you."
"Jonah. . ."
"I promise it'll be worth it." I sigh and let Jonah tie the white bandana over my eyes. Jonah helps me out the car and we started to walk. We were on a smooth bare surface for a while then it felt like gravel and rocks. We got to the edge of something and I stopped gripping onto Jonah's hand tightly.
"It's okay. We're just on some stairs." I loosened my grip and let out a short breath "You ready?" I nod slowly. Jonah takes off my blindfold, but I kept my eyes closed. I heard the sound of a cello and a piano being played in the background. "Go ahead look!" I opened my eyes and saw this...

Daniel and Corbyn were sitting a little ways behind the blanket playing the cello and piano. They looked up at us and smiled widely then continued playing. I cover my mouth with my hands as I felt my eyes tear up.
"Jonah, this is beautiful."
"Oh, sweetheart, this is only the first surprise." Jonah took my hand and we walked down the candlelit stairs together. There was a small picnic set up with candles all around it.
"Jonah how did you do this?" We sat down and I leaned against Jonah's shoulder.
"They guys and Christina helped me. I wanted to do something for you before we left so I planned this. That's why the rest of the guys couldn't come to meet your parents."
