Chapter 14

I woke up to my phone ringing. I check the caller I.D and it was Brendan. I answer

"Mornin'" I say in a groggy tone.

"Oh, I-I'm sorry Chelsea. I didn't mean to wake you." I check the time and it was 7:30

"You're fine, I was supposed to wake up an hour ago anyways. Whatcha need?" I say the last part yawning and getting out of bed.

"I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today since I'm guess you're leaving soon?"

"Uh yea, I leave Saturday. So when so you want to hang?"

"T-Tonight, maybe? I-If you want." Was Brendan asking me on a date? I hadn't told him that I was dating Jonah.

"Um how about this afternoon? I was planning to hang out with the Why Don't We boys tonight."

"Oh y-yea s-sure. . . that's fine." Brendan's voice seemed to lower, like he was embarrassed or scared.

"Brendan?"

"Y-yea?"

"We-Were you asking me on a date?" The phone was silent for a second then Brendan answered.

"...yea...sorta, but I understand." I blushed at how Brendan was so shy about it, but I was with Jonah.

"I hadn't told you this yet, but Jonah asked me out last night. . . on our date. I'm his girlfriend..." I smile at the sound if me saying I'm Jonah's girlfriend.

"O-oh. . .I-I just. . . never mind."     

"Do you still wanna hang out? I mean, I do."

"R-Really? I thought I would've made things awkward and ruined what we had."

"Not at all, that's what happens in movies. You'll never ruin what we have. You were my first friend when I got to L.A, you made me feel welcome. So you still wanna hang out?"

"Yea sure!"

"Can you pick me up around 2?"

"Yea. Can't wait."

"Bye.","Bye."

--Time Skip--

I took down my hair and combed it out then put it back up in a messy bun. I put on some black jeggings and a sleeveless crop top that said 'I just want Pizza', and my white converse. I flop on my bed and FaceTime Jonah. He answers immediately. Jonah pops up on the screen.

"Hey cutie." Jonah says awkwardly. I laugh at his attempt for a cute nickname. Before I can say a word the rest of the guys are jumping over to see who he's talking to.

"Hey Chelsea!" All the guys shout.

"Hey guys! What are you doing?" I say chuckling.

"We were chasing each other around the house then Jonah ran somewhere so we followed him and spied on him until he said cutie." Zach says. He was in the lower right corner. Daniel was in the bottom left Jack was right above Jonah's head and Corbyn was on the top right side.

"You guys do the weirdest things."

"You've never chased your sibling through the house?" Jonah asks

"Well yea, but only for taking my food or my phone." I say in a "duh" tone

"Ah, the two priorities." Daniel says making us all laugh.

"Chels, you wanna come over? We don't have anything to do until like 1 so we can hang out for a couple hours." Jack asked leaning into the camera more.
