Chapter Three

====Jason's P.O.V.====

I casually walked down the hall towards Elton's room. I am supposed to get him before I meet up with Jacob, assuming he even shows up at all.

I reach the door and knock three times. I can hear some groans behind the door before I hear what sounds like something falling onto the floor. The sound is followed by some loud mumbling. I hear shuffles get closer to the door then it opens, revealing Elton in the other side.

"Waddaya want?" He says.

"Did you just fall off your bed?" I ask. He looks up and meets my eyes before realizing who he was talking to.

"No. I gracefully tumbled from the sheets onto the carpet" he said sarcasticly.

"Ha. Ha. Get ready for dinner. We gotta meet up with another friend of mine, remember?" I remind him.

"Oh, yeah. I remember. Gimme a moment." He closes the door again and a few minutes later he reopens it, stepping out and closing it behind him. "Let's go." He said then started marching towards the elevator. Once we got to the elevator I heard the bell ring for dinner.

"Thanks allot dude! We're late now!" I shout at Elton, jokingly.

====Jacob's P.O.V.====

I opened my eyes as the bell rang for dinner. I was content with just laying here and not getting up. Then I remembered the note. Groaning I sat up. I put my shoes on, although I was unsure whether I was going or not. I looked over at my nightstand and grabbed the paper, before standing. I checked that my wings were hidden then left my room and headed towards the stairs.

As I thought through all the pros and cons, I decsended the stairs. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn't notice that I had come to a flat area where the second floor entrance was and I tripped, falling flat on my face. I quickly got up looking around to make sure no one else was in the stairwell to see me fall. Luckily I was alone.

I continued down to the first floor, being cautious about where I step this time around. I got to the bottom of the stairwell and saw that no one else was there. I brushed it off, because I'm mostly positive that I wasn't gonna meet up with Jason anyway. Then, the doors to the stairwell open and in comes Jason.

"Oh Jacob, you made it!" He grins at me. I nod back. He walks closer to me. "So, I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine." Jason says as the door opens behind him. I look over his shoulder at the person who enters and my eyes widen in shock when I see who it is.
