====Jacob P.O.V.====
Okay so, my hand was worse than I thought. I got stopped by a guard on my way to the bathroom, asking me what happened to my hand. I told him I punched a wall and he told me that I have no choice but to go see one of the many doctors in this building. So now I'm in what looks like a hospital room. I wait nervously for the doctor to come in... I hate this room. I decided on that the second I walked in. The door opens and I look up.

"Okay mister.... Jacob Edwins?" A female says from the doorway. She looks up at me and I nod. "Alright Jacob, what seems to be the problem?" She asks me I'm an overly cheery voice.

"Well, it seems as if i might have a few scrapes, I don't think I really need to be here. I can just go wash-" the lady, who I'm assuming is the doctor, cuts me off.

"Oh my! Let me see your hand dear." She walks over and grabs my wrist. Pulling my hand up close to her face to inspect it. "What did you do?" She asks.

" I punched a wall."

"Which wall?"

"The wall inside the stairwell on the bottom floor, right outside the lunchroom." I explain. She looks at me, slightly concerned.

"If my memory serves correct, I'm positive that wall is solid concrete. About 12 inches thick..."

"Oh yeah, I hadn't noticed." I reply sarcastically. She glances at my hand again before setting it down on my lap and turning to the desk next to her. She sets down a clipboard with some papers on it. I can barely make out my name at the top.

"Okay Jacob, I'm going to be right back. Don't leave." The doctor tells me as she turns and walks swiftly out of the room. Curious I stand and walk up to the desk. It's empty except for the clipboard. I pick it up and look at it. It appears to be a file, it has all of my information. I start at the top of the page and start to read it.

====Jason's P.O.V.====
I left the stairwell with Elton and we walked to the elevator.

"Hey Elton, what was all that about?" I ask

"Oh-uh... Nothing. I don't know..." He says. I chose to ignore his lie earlier, when he said that he knew Jacob from before, but I'm not ignoring it this time. We step through the elevator doors.

"I think you do know. I know that you liked when you said you knew him from before. And you're lying now. Do you think I'm stupid?" I ask, as he presses the button for the third floor.

"Listen, I really don't want to talk about this right now Jason... Especially not here. Can you just, drop it?" I narrow my eyes at his response.

"Fine. But we will talk about it tomorrow. I don't want any of my group members fighting." I tell him as the doors open and we step off the elevator. He turns right down the hall and I turn left. I walk past Jacob's room and decide to let him know where to meet me tomorrow.

I knock on the door and wait for a minute. I get no reply so I knock a little louder. Still no answer, so I rush to my room and write a note for him. I head back to his door and try it once more before slipping the folded note under the door.

====Jacob's P.O.V.====
A guard escorts me back to my room through the hospital wing, as I found out that is where we were. We walk through many doors and I look down at my hand. There is a brace on it right now. I have to go in tomorrow and get a cast. The doc says i fractured something. I guess I did do more that scratch it. We get to the hall that my door is in and the guard leaves me to the rest of my journey.

Once I get to my door I look down and notice a corner of paper is sticking out from underneath it. I bend down to pick it up. It's folded up and has a little dash and the letters 'J.A' on it I stand up again and enter my room. I close the door and sit on my bed. I unfold the letter and read it.

Hey Jacob,
I came by a little bit ago and knocked. You didn't answer so I left a note. I just wanted to tell you to meet me during breakfast. Same place as dinner. This time we'll actually get food. lol. Welp I'll see ya then!
~Jason

I set the note down and laid on my back. I sat back up regretting laying down in that position, and on my wings. I decide to untie my shoes instead. I bend down and, after a lot of difficulty, manage to get my shoes untied. I set them down neatly by my bed and stand up. I take my shirt off and stretch my wings out slightly, avoiding looking at my left wing. I can't stretch them out fully in here, buts it's still nice. I get back into my bed and lay on my stomach. Allowing my wings to rest open. I close my eyes and quickly fall asleep.
