====Jacob's P.O.V.====
I was pushed into a room filled with lab equipment. The man who pushed me in has both of my arms held behind my back and something tied around my mouth so I can't make any noise.

He pushed me over to what I assume is the examination table and I struggle to get free. After much difficulty on his part, and a lot of struggling on my part, I'm lying face down on the flat metal table. My hand and ankles were placed in handcuffs keeping me where I am. I struggle against the cuffs, but to no avail. The metal cuts into my skin drawing some blood. Another person enters the room.

"Ah. Thank you. You can leave now, I'll take it from here." It's Dr. Jace. the other man leaves and Dr. Jace steps closer to me and leans down to look at my face.

"Hello Jacob. Are you ready for today? Remember yesterday when I put that blue liquid in your arm? Well, today, we are gonna see if it does it's job properly. Sounds fun, ya?" My eyes widen and I start to struggle with my restraints again.

He steps out of my field of vision and gets something off of the table behind me. Then I feel cold metal on my back as he starts to cut the back of my shirt open, exposing my wings. I try to scream at him to stop but what ever is on my mouth prevents me from saying anything properly.

Dr. Jace walks back to the table and gets something else. I don't hear him walk up to me again but I know he is right behind me when, all of a sudden, I feel a burning sensation coming from my left wing. I involuntarily flinch and jerk my wing away. He roughly grabs my wing and pulls it closer to him and the burning sensation worsens. It keeps getting hotter and hotter.

It moves from the top of the outer edge of my wing the the bottom portion of the very tip of it. My vision starts to blur and fade, I scream into the cloth that protects the doctor's ears from my words as my vision starts to get black spots in it. The burning goes away but quickly returns in another location, still on my left wing.

All I can hear is my own screams filling my head as my vision fades to black.

I jump up off of my bed and spin around quickly. I'm in my room. I look over and see all of my stuff where I put it yesterday. I look at my nightstand and see the note on it and remember. It was just a dream. Well, a nightmare. Actually I think it might have been a memory. I glance to my left and see my wing in my peripheral vision. Yeah, it was a memory. Most likely triggered by seeing Dr. Jace today. I wish I would have just punched him in the face.

I pick up a long sleeve shirt, to cover my brace, from my drawer and put it on, folding my wings so that they can fit. I grab my shoes and put them on, then pick up the note and stuff it into my pocket. I open the door and peek out. I don't know what time it is. I don't even know if I slept through breakfast.

I don't see anyone in the hallway so I step out of my room and close the door behind me. Making my way down to the stairwell I glance around, to make sure no one sees me. I open the door to the stairwell and start my descent.

Once I get to the first floor I sit on the last step and wait. For what, I don't know. I just wait. I hear the bell ring and I'm assuming that it's for breakfast, but it could be lunch. I wait.
