"What?"
"Your parents. Are fucking idiots." He simply states and I think he can tell I'm confused because he sighs. "There's nothing wrong with being gay. At all." He gets up and begins to pace around his room, Mitch's eyes following the blonde.
"I-You don't ha-hate me?"
Doctor Hoying's eyes immediately flick to Mitch's. "Wha... No, Mitch, why would I hate you?"
"I just- just thought you did. I don't know. The way you acted when I first came in made it seem like you did."
"Oh Mitchy..." Doctor Hoying sighs and looks away, running his fingers through his already mussed hair. His gaze locks on the carpet as he gnaws on his bottom lip before sighing again and walking back to his seat. "I could never hate you." He sits down. Their eyes lock. "Never."
Chills run down Mitch's spine and he goes to break the eye contact but fails. It's as if there's a wire, connecting their line of vision together. Then, Doctor Hoying breaks the eye contact.

What the hell.
Scott's eyes suddenly flick back up to Mitch's and they both clear their throat at the same time.
"I, um..." Scott begins but trails off.
"I think we've covered everything for today." Mitch whispers and stands up. He avoids all eye contact with the blonde
It cannot happen again.
"Oh, um, yeah, of course, right." Scott rambles and stands up. "So, I'll see you Mon-" He begins to ask but Mitch is already out the door.
It cannot happen again.
