|| Saturday ||
The weekend.
Most teenagers would be ecstatic to have their parents go on holiday without them, especially on the weekend.
But not Mitch.
Mitch hated being alone.
Especially when he was hearing noises around the house and it was the middle of the day.
He gathered himself up, putting his phone in his jacket pocket and slipped some money into his jeans before quickly closing the door behind him and rushing down the driveway, not brave enough to glance back.
He quickly turns the corner and it's only when he opens the door does he realise where he is.
"Oh, Mr Grassi! It's Saturday! Your next appointment is Monday, dear, are you okay?" The receptionist says brightly, gaze going slowly over Mitch's body. Mitch shakes his head and she nods. "Well, Mr Hoying is with a patient at the moment but you can wait for him if you'd like?"
Mitch suddenly felt ridiculous. What was he doing here?
Mitch shakes his head and turns around, heading straight for the door but Doctor Hoying's voice stops him.
"Mitch? Are you okay?" The blonde calls and Mitch freezes, slowly spinning around. He takes his hand out his jacket pocket and awkwardly waves, moving aside for the previous patient to walk past. "See you tomorrow Avi! Don't forget what I told you." The patient quickly waves behind him and rushes out of the building.
"Would you like to come in, Mitch?" Doctor Hoying steps into his office.
Mitch, like every other day, follows him in silently.
