Operation Ignore Alex in progress. That's what I have been doing since he kissed me and tried to rub it in my face. I know it wasn't a big deal, and I shouldn't be angry like I am, but the fact that he stole my first kiss, it's another whole different story.

I know, I know. In my senior year and never been kissed?

It's kind of my fault anyways, I have never let a boy closer to me. Either be it a friend or anything, so long as it's a guy we are talking about. The reason why I only have Sophie and Claire as friends.

I'm the most social awkward person you can ever find so, please don't judge. I'm really shy and it's not something that I learned, it's just in my nature I can't help it.

But when it comes to Hunter,
Yes, I'm stuck to calling him buy his surname:-)
I don't know what it is about him, he just infuriates me. You know that feeling when you feel like you want to punch someone in the face? Or rip out their throat or something? Yes! That's how he makes me feel. I don't know, he just brings out the worst in me.

Heading to the library where I now stay for my lunch break, l saw him rounding the corner to the cafeteria with his now new friends. He's been here for two weeks and he's already hanging out with the famous crew? You Know, the football players?

Anyways, I quickly made my way into the library so that he wouldn't have to see me. This is the only time I get away from him since we sit together in class, but I make sure to ignore him at all cost. He doesn't even talk to me so, that's fine with me.

"Hi Merrisa, how is it going?" The librarian smiled when she realized that it's me.

"Same old thing you know, I enjoy the silence it's peaceful." She said with a dreamy face and that dazzling bright smile of hers. "The table is clear, just make sure that you leave it clean when you leave."

"Ok thanks." I am very grateful that she lets me eat in here, just as long as I clean up after me.

I made my way to my usual table in the far corner of the library and took out my assignment so that I could search up a bit on it while I eat.

My phone chimed from my backpack, so I took it out to find a text message from Claire.

Claire: Lunch after school young lady.

Daisy: Any special occasion?:-)

C: D! I've known you for five years now, and I know when something is wrong. So you are going to tell us what is going on.

Before I could reply another text came in.

C: Usual spot after school?

D: Okay.

Throughout all the remaining lessons after lunch, I've been thinking of what I'm going to say to Sophie and Claire. It's not that easy to talk to someone about their cousin, especially when you dislike the person.

I went to my locker to put away some of my books, and take the ones that I will need to work on. Just as I opened my locker, a small yellow note fell out. I frowned as I picked it up, since I haven't seen it there in the morning.

Oh no he didn't. How in the halleluja did he get my locker number? And we need to talk? Really?

I tossed the note that just soured my mood even more into the trashcan and make my way to the parking lot to meet up with the girls. We later decided to go to an ice cream shop nearby the school.

As soon as we got our ice cream and sat down, Sophie looked at me with her soft eyes and I already know what is to come.

"Daisy? Are you okay?" She asked cautiously with softness in her eyes.

"Of course I'm fine why wouldn't I be?"

" Come on D! We know you said that you have been working on an assignment but, we all know that's not why you have been avoiding us." Claire chimed in with that scary look of hers. Then realization hit me.

They think that I've been avoiding them? Oh God!

"No guys, it's not like I've been ignoring you or something, it's just..."

"Then care to explain why you have been skipping lunch with us?" Claire gave me a glare cutting me off while Sophie just sat there quietly. She has never been good when it comes to confrontations.

I took a deep breath, readying myself to tell them everything. I started from how I first met Alex the first day of school and all the arguments we have been through. How he got the nerve to kiss me and rub it in my face and finally my mission to ignore him, hence why I avoid going to the cafeteria.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry D." Sophie hugged me After a few minutes of silence, while Claire just sat there clenching her ice cream cup tightly. "By the way he sits with his new friends now so you don't have to worry about sitting with him at lunch."

"I don't know why you didn't tell us sooner D," Claire finally spoke, "But you know that anyone that messes with my friends, messes with me. He might be my cousin, but that doesn't save him from my wrath." She concluded with a red face and hard eyes. Let me just tell you something, don't you dare mess with Claire ever. She's just so scary when she's furious.

The sound of the bell was heard, signaling that someone just entered the tiny but comfy ice cream shop.

As if on cue we all turned our heads and...

Guess who was standing there.

Just take a wild guess.

If you said Alex freaking Hunter, then you really are good at this game.

Alex came strolling in the shop with his bunch of noising football friends and they made their way to the counter without noticing us.

One look at Claire and I noticed she was breathing very deeply and I swear you can literally see fumes of smoke coming from her nose and ears.

Oh boy! Someone is in trouble.
