My head hurts like hell.

When Claire and Sophie told me that they were going to get me ready for the date, I thought they were just going to hand me an outfit to change into after I shower. Boy was I wrong.

They made me shave every single hair on my body, except my head of course, and they even brought along a strawberry shampoo that I had to wash my hair with throughout.

After almost thirty minutes of washing and scrubbing until my body hurts, I finally breathed out of relief when they told me it was enough. What I didn't know was that, the worse was yet to come.

It took a whole hour for the decision of the outfit to be finalized. We we're arguing on very small and useless things. Like me not wanting to wear anything too tight and not short either, which was kind of impossible because those were the only things available. After a whole fat ass hour, we finally agreed on some casual jeans paired with a cute red sweater and black ankle boots. Sounds like a simple outfit, but if I was to dress myself, I would have gone for less tight jeans and maybe some sneakers?

Since they know that I hate makeup, Claire decided to give me a natural look, while Sophie tagged my hair out of their roots

Since they know that I hate makeup, Claire decided to give me a natural look, while Sophie tagged my hair out of their roots. All this was done with me sulking and being faced away from the mirror.

"Okay cry baby, you can look now." Claire clapped her hands together, admiring their work.

"You guys are acting like I'm getting married or something."

Claire glared at me, and pushed me towards the mirror, which caused me to stumble on my feet."Just shut up and look in the mirror."

I struggled to get my balance as I made my way to towards the full body mirror in my bathroom. "Hey! You keep pushing me like that and I will end up face first on the floor. You know I'm not used to anything higher then...Wow."

I can't even find the words to describe how I look right now. I know this is all out of my comfort zone but, I can't ignore the job well done by my besties. I look different. Hell, I don't even recognize myself.

"Unless you want to catch flies, then I suggest you keep your mouth open." Claire snapped me out of my la la Land, and I faced both of them with a smile and wide open arms.

"Thank you guys," I said hugging them tightly.

"No problem" they both said in unison before Claire added, "it's already ten minutes to six, so lover boy can be here any minute now. Are you ready for your friendly date night Daisy?"

Right! It was just a friendly outing. Why did I even go through all this torture? I could have worn my pajamas if I wanted to.

"Are you okay D?" Sophie must have realized my change of mood. She's always the observant one.

Before I could answer, the doorbell went off, saving me from her questioning eyes.

"That's my cue to leave. I'll catch you later guys, you know where to leave the key."
