Doctor Roach watched the Invaded.
"You know, the political show of Senator McCarthy is riling me. It stems from his warped thinking. Russia is still complaining that they're not invading America; they're not waging another war. After the Korea war over the last three years, there's a feeling that no one trusts each other...
...The social, economic, and political, crisis is a bothersome pain that will increase the fate of America. Because of the aliens invading us, we have a choice: be touched, and become one of them; or kill them all".
Doctor Harris nodded.
"We can't do anything unless we force the Invaded out. There's a cancer on the soul, here. We can't let them overtake us; we can't let them drive their own agenda...We're humans; we're people. We won't submit to their policy of body invasion".
"Mind, body, and soul".
"That...and there's something else".
"What?".
"They can change you by coughing blood into your face. Once they do that, you'll change. It's due to the Fourth Stage of infection".
"Do you have any evidence of this?", he asked.
"Yes, look at this...", Doctor Harris answered...as he set up a small lab in the middle of the large room. A microscope was nearby.
Doctor Roach looked into the eye.
And, when he saw the mutated blood on small slides, he shivered with terror.
