Lisa’s POV

I frowned as I took another sip of my champagne.  I adored Ali, I did, but how was it fair that she was getting married before me? I mean she always had Josh and then when she didn’t she had Paul. She deserved it, I mean she was the kindest soul in the universe, but it kind of sucked being the best friend watching the other friend getting everything you wanted out of life.

I lost my older brother the day she lost her boyfriend. I suffered too. Shouldn’t I get some sort of reward? I took another large gulp of the champagne feeling the burn go down my throat. I hated weddings. “I HATE WEDDINGS!” I heard one of the other bridesmaids growl. It was the girl that always had a frown on her face that Ali had told me to avoid, as she was in a bad mood….she was also the one that was Ali’s ‘project’ the bitter girl that she was going to turn into a heart of gold. God, you just want to hate her sometimes….but just couldn’t.

I turned to look at her downing her champagne much like I was. “Preach!” I said holding out my glass clinking it with hers.

“Hey, you’re Ali’s best friend that fucked Paul before she did….or well…..she still hasn’t…..” she joked.

I smirked, sweet baby Ali…. “Indeed I am,” I said.

“Leah, Seth’s sister, Ali’s project, and Paul’s worst nightmare,” she grinned at me.

“Ah, so YOU’RE LEAH!” I teased her.

“The bitter bitch that ruins everyone’s happiness, that’s totally me,” she grinned at me.

            I chuckled, “I’m the slut,” I shrugged.

We giggled at that, something told me Leah and I would be great friends. “Lisa, pleasssseeeee come dance with me,” Hunter begged for about the fifteenth time of the night.

“No,” I snapped gulping the last bit of champagne down.

He frowned at me before turning to Leah and putting on the British charm, “What about you beautiful, would you like to dance?” he asked.

Leah simply raised an eyebrow, “You’re accent is annoying, go away,” she said snootiness in her tone.

He frowned and sighed walking off probably going to go tattle to Ali. “How are my two besties?” Ali asked coming over only seconds later with a wide doe eyed smile. She was just too cute.

I noticed Paul come up behind her only seconds later, like always, I rolled my eyes as he wrapped his arms around her and snuggled his head on her shoulder before kissing her cheek. Leah and I gagged in unison before high fiving. Cuteness overload….they were THAT couple.

“Why won’t you two come dance? Please, for me?” she asked pouting innocently.

“Will you stop making googly eyes at each other? For me?” I smirked at her.

Paul sent me an annoyed look when Leah continued for me, “I mean I know you are excited to fuck at last, but please keep those feelings for yourself for the moment, I swear you’re like rabbits!” she grinned.

I laughed high fiving her again, Paul sent both of us an ugly look, “Come on Al, they are party poopers, don’t let them ruin your day,” he cooed sweetly.

She rolled her eyes at him, sometimes he was so sweet that he even got on her nerves, she confided in me that sometimes she wanted just a little dysfunction….. if that wasn’t too much to ask….poor Ali….the perfect boyfriend. I smiled at Leah, “Let’s go show off our moves?” I asked her.

“Show them boys what they’re missing,” she smirked at me standing up with me and leading me out to the dance floor when someone collided with me spilling their red wine ALL over me….. “Seth, YOU IDIOT!” Leah screamed at the boy.

I was so shocked I was speechless, I was wearing a sky blue dress……hell to the no. “Oh my gosh, I am SO sorry,” the guy said starting to wipe at the wine on my dress with a napkin not even caring that it was close to my private parts.

Then the spitfire Lisa came out, the one everyone knows and loves. “Are you an imbecile!? Watch where you’re fucking going! You just RUINED this dress! Now it looks like I got my damn period!” I started to shriek at him.

He looked up at me and met my eyes and froze, I rolled my eyes at him, “What are you deaf too? THIS DRESS COST THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS!? You can’t get red wine out of a dress!? God, you are so stupid!” I continued to rant pushing him away from me as he was still hovering over me. I stood up and brushed myself off with a huff.

“God, how am I supposed to rock a red wine stain?” I asked no one.

I then shrugged, “I’ll still be the hottest one here,” I smirked confidently turning to Leah who was now laughing her head off and pointing at the boy looking dumbstruck on the ground. Speaking of, he was probably the hottest guy I ever laid eyes on….hotter than Paul, and that says something. The hot ones are always stupid though.

“Hahaha, who would have thought baby Seth’s type would be just like his sister!” she wailed.

I gave her a confused look when Ali and Paul ran over. “Oh my god, Lisa, you’re dress!” she said panicked.

“I know, imbecile over here spilled wine all over me!? Well, at least people will know I’m not pregnant!” I snapped angrily.

Ali giggled, “God, I love you,” she smiled at me absolutely glowing and I rolled my eyes, nothing would ruin her day.

Paul started laughing along with Leah when Ali and I looked over at him, and Ali grinned from ear to ear before tackling the imbecile in a hug. “SETH! YAY!” she squealed.

“Get off me,” he grumbled pushing her off him and standing up brushing himself off blushing.

“Finally, the imbecile speaks. He isn’t mute….” I said sarcastically.

Paul and Leah only started to laugh harder, while Ali whacked me, “Lisa, be nice, it was accident, this is Seth Clearwater, Leah’s brother….. Seth, why don’t you bring Lisa to the bathroom and help clean her up. Don’t give him too hard of a time, Lisa, you didn’t like the dress anyway,” she teased me.

I glared at her, “Uh no, Leah can help me clean up, I’m not going anywhere with him!” I snapped folding my arms across my chest.

Ali smirked at me, and then leaned over, “He’s the best kisser in La Push, I hear stuff,” she winked at me.

I smirked, well that changes things….. I smiled at Seth flirtily, “Well, are you going to stand there and catch flies or help me clean up?” I asked him.

He nodded quickly and followed me to the girl’s bathroom. When we got there I turned around and smirked at him as I hopped up on the bathroom counter, “So I hear you’re a good kisser?” I smirked.

His eyes widened looking shocked, but before he could say anything I wrapped my legs around his torso and pulled his lips to mine, Ali was right, he definitely was the best kisser in La Push. Who knew? Maybe weddings weren’t so bad after all!
