11:25 pm, Arkham Asylum, Gotham.
Batman raised his hands up, to show an act of surrender to Bane. "Batman...we meet again," exclaimed Bane. His men grabbed the three trapped wardens by their necks and placed them farther away from Batman's reach.
"You don't want to be here. This place is going to come down hard by Gotham police," warned Batman. "Oh, the GCPD? Joker's taking care of that. You're in here with me," replied Bane. He growled like a monster, his hulking muscles raging.
"This place is madness, Bane. You need to get out," said Batman. He clenched his fists as he slowly brought down his hands.
"No, Batman...you're coming with us. We're bringing you to Joker," replied Bane. His men loaded their rifles, as the three wardens were frightened.
Batman then sprang into action, combating Bane. Bane grabbed Batman by the throat, choking him and slamming him into the ground. The ground shook in reaction.
Bane's mercenaries began firing at Batman. He got up quickly, somersaulted and used his bulletproof cape to deflect the bullets. He then used his "detective mode", which was used for "combat mode".
He threw a Batarang at the nearest light, and shut the electricity off in the room. It was pitch black. Bane walked around, his venomous liquid being the only source of light.
"Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!" Bane explained. With his agility and strength, he spotted Batman and kicked him to the ground.
Batman gasped for air. "The shadows betray you, because they belong to me!" shouted Bane. He roared ferociously, punching Batman several times in the face. His mask nearly ripped off. He developed a black eye and a bloody lip.
Batman opened his eyes and felt adrenaline in him. He then swooped up in the air with the help of a grappling hook. He landed on a pedestal up above against the wall. Batman then pulled out his "explosive gel" gadget from his utility belt.
He then sprayed the gel onto a piece of the wall, as the enemies below him scratched their heads in confusion. Batman, angered, then detonated the explosive gel attached to the wall.
A gigantic piece of the wall blew up, sending rubble onto some of Bane's mercenaries. "No!!" Bane shrieked and held the collapsing wall to save his comrades.
Batman threw a Batarang at Bane's hand, disabling him. The wall then smashed onto Bane, crushing him. Batman punched one more mercenary down, and then confronted Bane.
"You're going to be left here until police arrive. Goodbye Bane," uttered Batman. He walked away, as Bane tried to escape the debris but the weight of it was too immensely strong for him to lift.
"I'll get you back, Batman!! Some day!! Your head will be smashed like a grape the day I have you!" yelled Bane in fury.
Batman helped untie the three wardens, as they all left Bane trapped in the darkness. "Go see your other friends. They are in the north hallway of the asylum," said Batman to the wardens.
"Thank you, Caped Crusader," replied the wardens. "Here. Call me if you need anything, I'll be looking for my partner now," spoke Batman as he handed them a walkie-talkie.
Batman then crawled through a ventilation shaft, hoping to look for Catwoman. She must have been somewhere. Suddenly, his communication device went off again. It was hacked by Riddler!
"Batman...I have shut off all doors to the asylum. You can't escape this place now with your little cat friend. The north hallways, the south hallways, east, west, they've all been locked up by me. Nothing to do about it now," spoke Riddler on the other end. He then hung up.
Batman noticed the ventilation shaft was starting to get warmer and warmer. He soon realized that he was in the wrong shaft, instead belonging to the cafeteria of the asylum and a hot oven was turned on by one of Joker's goons! Batman struggled to breathe as the fumes went up.
He then turned on his "detective mode" and crawled desperately to the entrance of the shaft. He climbed out, and panted on the ground. He was safe for now.
Batman then used his "detective mode" once again to check Riddler's location. He then noticed Catwoman's beacon was turned on finally. She was closer to Riddler's location in the west hallway than he was.
"Good. Go get them, Selina," whispered Batman. He then proceeded down the hallway and started thinking of a way to exit out of the north hallway he was now locked in.
