Chapter 6: Home Alone

"Hey, Ms. Villareal, wake up. We're here."

 

I opened my eyes. My head was spinning and my vision was bleary. However, I was able to figure out where I was with that ceiling from above - the common room, to be specific. At last, we finally reached our dorm. 

"Oi Meg, ayos ka lang?" tanong sa akin ni Jules. Halatang-halata yung pagka-worry niya sa boses niya. "Kanina ka pang nakatulala diyan."

 

"Ha? Ahm, sorry, Jules." I replied, still dizzy. "Masakit lang ang ulo ko, for some reason."

 

"Pffft. Ang galing mo rin kasi, no? Basang-basa ang buhok mo tapos saka ka makakatulog! Aba, magtataka ako kung hindi yan sasakit!"

Okay. Ito na naman siya. One moment, gentleman siya; the next minute, bad boy. Hindi ko talaga mabasa tong lalaking to.

Pero hindi ito yung tamang oras na magalit ako sa kanya.

"Oi, Julius."

"Ano na naman? Babarahin mo na nam----"

"THANK YOU."

 

I cut him off and said those words sincerely, no sarcasm intended. Hindi ko na inintindi yung pride ko. May ginawa itong taong kinamumuhian ko para sa ikabubuti ko. Hindi ko lang basta basta yun papalampasin ng hindi nagpapasalamat. I saw him blush which probably prompted him to hide his face. Hahaha Cute :">

"J-Just be careful next time, okay? Who knows what'll happen kung wala ako dun?"

I haven't given much thought about that possibility. What if, though, Jules weren't actually there? I'll probably be dead right now. Walang "knight-in-shining-armor" na magliligtas sa akin. Hahaha akalain mo nga naman no? Pati mga witch, meron ding mga hero? 

But then again, he was the one who threw to the pool in the first place!

 

"Pfffft. Ikaw naman ang naghagis sa akin sa pool eh!" I exclaimed. Pfffft. Damn his sweet words. It almost made me forgot about that crucial fact. A few seconds later, an idea popped out of my mind.

"Hey, that reminds me..."

 

"WHAT?"

I gave him an evil smirk. WAHAHAHAHA patay ka sa akin ngayon!!! I took a deep breath...

"KUYA MATTHEW!!!!!!! KUYAAAAAAAA!!! SI JULES!!! SINAKTAN AKO!! UWAAAAAAH!!"

 

Heh! Mula dun sa mukha ni Jules, I bet he wasn't expecting that. Para lang siyang nabuhusan ng isang timba ng yelo. I mean, he was frozen stiff! Hahahahaha! Lagot ka ngayon booooy!
