The world has shunned you out from the person you needed to be
You were cut out and raised by the streets
But suddenly everything wasn't what it seemed.
You were broken and bruised and loving you could not sew in the seam
But all of sudden a glimpse of the light you gave created and imprint on my  being.
You have been lost for so many years but the map is just in arms reach in fear you walked away.
In fear you forgot to lead the way.
It may have been the love that scared you off.
But that's not what hurts me the most.
it's seeing you knowing you and not able to tell you,
The world is a greater place because of you.
You are not the father you had that was just a shell.
You are the not the mother who had forgotten her son some mornings
You are not the family you were born into
You are the brightest light in the darkest room.
The darkness has taken over many parts of you
But the part that shines the most still lives inside of you.
I may not be able to show you the gratitude but not even the fish can thank the sea.
Even if you never read this know that, you are a stallion in the midnight summer with rivers of gold flowing from your soul.
You are loved .
You are light.
May the sky name a star after you take flight.
