School the whole next week was strange.
I got notes in my locker every morning, and three out of five afternoons. On Friday afternoon, a neatly folded note fell at my shoes. I picked it up before grabbing the stuff I needed to do my homework over the weekend.
After shoving it all in my bag and closing my locker, I unfolded the note.
"Hello, Luke.
You should meet me by the flowers in front of the school. Well, they're on the side of the school, but you know where to go. I'm waiting, and you'll finally get to know who's been writing these to you. You'll finally know who's in love with you.
Only go if you want to. It's totally up to you.
Bye x"
I sighed. Why didn't this person just tell me who they were? I had a heavy backpack and a mechanical baby to carry.
I walked outside, the bright sun hitting my eyes and causing me to squint. It took a little time for my eyes to adjust, and I looked around.
A lot of people were still in the parking lot, since school had ended less than ten minutes before I got outside. Still, it was nearly half empty.
I began walking towards the side of the building that had rows of colorful flowers, unsure of what to expect.
