The clothes Emily is letting me have fit me like a glove. I am glad, yet weirded out that me and Emily are in the same exact size, chest size and everything. I'm a tad skinnier, so the shirt is a tiny bit too big.
Emily smiles at me when I leave the guest room. "The shirts too big, but the rest his like a glove."
"I know." I reply with a smile. "I am skinnier than you are."
"Don't I know it." Emily gushes. "I wish I were that small again."
Emily stands by the door as I go to my car. Jared will be at school after lunch with Paul, they are going to Kim's viewing in Port Angeles. I understand, Jared dated Kim for a long time and he's Paul's close buddy.
Rachel takes me by the wrist and drags me gently into the school. "Where's Paul and Jared?"
"They went to Kim's viewing." I reply. "Paul is giving Jared his support."
"Paul will probably go to the funeral with Jared tomorrow, as well." Rachel coos.
"I might go with Jacob tomorrow." I shrug. "He wants me to tag along to Forks."
"You should; dad is going too." Rachel smiles. "Charlie is a good friend of dad's, and his daughter just move in, Isabella."
"That is what Jacob was telling me." I reply. "I am riding with him and Billy."
"Thank goodness for Saturday's, right?" Rachel asks with a smirk plastered on her face.

Quil smiles as I enter the lunchroom. He frowned when he noticed me with Rachel, heading towards the table away from him. I frown myself before I sit between Embry and Rachel.
"It's too bad that Kim's gone, but I'm thankful, and that's bad to say." Embry says as everyone joins the table.
"Jared won't be miserable anymore." Leah Clearwater, who dated Sam Uley before, says. "It'll be good for him."
"Maybe he will have a chance with Tori here." Embry playfully shoved his elbow into my ribs.
Leah winks at me. "That's a possibility."
Jared and Paul sit down, looking tired.
"Kim's mom was careless as ever." Jared mumbles as he looks at everyone, his gaze stays on me a moment longer. "She didn't even cry when she walked up to Kim's body."
"Shannon was always a heartless bitch." Paul grumbles as he steals one of my fries. "Can't stand her."
I slap Paul's hand as he reaches for another fry. "Don't touch my food, Lahote."
Paul smiles innocently. "Sorry."
I narrow my eyes at him before I eat on the burger. "So the viewing wasn't good?"
"It was good." Jared replies. "I just wanted to slap the fire out of Shannon, Kim's mom."
"I'll be in Forks tomorrow with Jacob and Billy." I say to Jared and Paul.
"We have a funeral to attend." Paul reminds everyone at the table. "This will be an easy funeral to go to."
"I can agree." Jared replies.

I walk across the street when I park my car at the Black's, and see that Jaxon is here alone. I gulp down the lump in my throat, and I go lands.
Jaxon grabs me by the hair once the door is close, and he throws me to the floor. He begins kicking me over and over again. I am spitting up blood when he stops; he only stops because Quil walks in behind Charleen.
"Stupid bitch; I know about the car." Jaxon growls. "I saw you walk to it this morning."
I sit out some more blood. "You didn't pay for it."
Jaxon kicks me one last time, harder than before. "You can keep it, bitch."
Jaxon and Charleen disappear into their bedroom, and Quil helps me stand up.
"Go shower; I'll block the door." Quil insists.
"Grab me some clothes while I'm in there." I whisper in a shaky voice.
I step under the hot water, and it burns my bruised ribs. Jaxon keeps getting worse in his beatings. The kicking me in the ribs is a new move.

Quil sits in my room with me, as I apply some foundation to my ribs, wearing a training bra.
"You're growing used to me." I notice as he doesn't blush at my bare skin.
"I know." Quil grins. "Can I see your hip and shoulder tattoos?"
I nod my head before I turn. Quil instantly likes my hip tattoo.
"Those are neat." Quil smiles at me. "I like te roses."
I smile as I pull a shirt on. "It was the most painful, but it's my favorite too. I like my wrist tattoo too."
"I'm going to bed." Quil says. "Are you going to be okay?"
I sigh, sad. "I'll be fine."
Quil smiles sadly before going to his room. I collapse onto my bed, flat on my back. I place my hands on my sore ribs, as tears escape my eyes due to the pain of the day.
I close my eyes after wiping away my stray tears; I fall asleep when the pain fades away.
