"What was it like for you when you were human?" I mutter under my breath, I know he can hear me, his whole body tenses when he does. "I understand if you don't want to talk about your past, I haven't even told you about mine. Would you like me to tell you mine then you tell me yours? You know I really do love you right? I won't make you do or talk about anything you don't want to." I grab his hand and bring it up to my face, kissing it before holding it to my cheek.

"I know you really love me, I didn't think it was possible for something like me to love someone, but it seems I was wrong. I love you, I love you with every last morsel of my being. I always will love you, no matter what. I hope you understand that I don't wish to talk about my past, it brings up too many memories, and emotions." His body relaxes and he brings his head down and kisses my neck sweetly, kissing all the way up my neck to my jaw, and finally reaching my lips, "Now what was that other question?"

"Well I was wondering what is it like to become and be a demon, I honestly am not afraid of becoming a demon, honestly I'm curious as to what it is like to be one. I know it's not normal for a human to say that," I explain, his body surprisingly doesn't tense up when I ask him. He actually laughed, "What's so funny?"

"I figured it was only a matter of time before you asked something like that. Well it's actually quite easy to explain, becoming a demon is a horrible experience, pain, and darkness, and being a demon isn't as bad but it's not a great thing, always feeling empty and hungry, being an outcast from everyone else, and a lot of secrets." Sebastian explains bluntly, I was actually quite surprised.

Sebastians P.O.V.

I figured it was only a matter of time before she asked it, I actually laughed, a real, genuine laugh, she seemed so surprised when I started laughing, of course I explained.

"Yasmine, when I became a demon, the first month was terrible, almost constant darkness, I was in nonstop excruciating pain, of course I'm no longer in pain, but ever since then I've always felt this great emptiness inside, like I've been missing something, but ever since I met you that emptiness has started to fill up, I don't understand it myself but it's true. You complete me. I'm almost always hungry, it's been at least 5 if not 6 years since I've eaten, of course no matter how much human food I have I'm always hungry, and besides human food tastes disgusting to me, so I don't eat it anyways, I also have no need for sleep,"

Your P.O.V.

That explains all those nights I've had my nightmares he was always bright in my room, "I was an outcast even when I was human, but ever since I've become a demon it's gotten worse, everyone except my contractors and you, my kitten," he strokes the side of my face ace with his thumb, "Is afraid of me. In order to keep my secret I have to wear gloves, and control my emotions strongly or else everyone would find out I'm a demon, I can't even take my socks off, everyone knows that black nails is a sure sign that someone is a demon. The reason why I have to keep my emotions in line is because of my aura, when I get mad it darkens severely, and my eyes, they love to change color. When I'm mad, very happy,  sad, upset, or lustful, they love to change into that bright fuscia you love so much. I found out that now they like to turn bright red when I'm close to you, if you can't tell I've gotten some control over it."  He blushed when he told me why his eyes had turned bright red.

I can't believe that I'm the reason that his eyes turned into a almost blood red color earlier, I turn around and hug him tightly.
