Chapter 19

"How is your wrist feeling? I love you." I ask her and she bursts into tears. "Why are you crying? Is it your wrist? What's wrong?" I wrap my arms around and carefully bring her to my chest.

"It hurts!" She screams out gently holding her wrist, tears running down her face. I kiss her cheeks, she didn't cry out in pain this much when I took her for her first time.

"It'll be alright, the pain medicine that the doctor gave you should kick in soon, do you want to do something to take your mind off the pain?" I ask and I wipe her tears, looks up at me. "Do you want to pet my wings some more? I know we both enjoy that." She giggles slightly and nods, I carefully put her back into bed before locking the door and closing the curtains so no one could see in.

I lay on the bed next to her on my stomach, my arms propping me up, I let myself change into my mixed form and I rest one of my wings on her lap, she giggles again and starts petting my wing, I let out a small moan, it feels really good when she pets my wings. Her good hand running down over my feathers and her injured one sitting in her lap, I lean over and kiss her lips.

"I have a better idea," Yasmine says trying to get on top of me, but I use my wing to pin her down, "No, not until your ankle is healed, well you won't be on top at least I don't want you hurting yourself." She pouts.

"I'll stay here with you all day and all night, but tomorrow I will have to start my butler duties again, I'm sure the young master and I will be visiting you tomorrow to see how you are but in the time would you like anything to eat?" She nods and I go to get up but she grabs my arm stopping me, I turn into my normal form and she hugs me the best she can, "What's wrong kitten?"

"Stay here, please." I sigh and lay back down. "Then how do you suppose I get you food if you won't let me up?"

"Use your abilities or call for Mey-Rin or Bard, I don't want you to leave me." She knows I'm not going to leave her, I'm pretty sure it's just the medication kicking in, I see her eyelids start to droop. She snuggles up close to me and falls asleep.

"Sleep well kitten. Heal fast." I get up without waking her and walk out to find the young master still talking to Lau.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I wanted to inform the young master that Miss Yasmine is now asleep, her pain medication finally kicked in." The young master looked up at me, for a moment he was worried, but once I said she was asleep he calmed down.

"What's this? Miss Yasmine is hurt?" I swear for a moment I saw a smile on his lips, "I'm sorry to hear that, will she be alright?"

"Yes, sadly she hurt herself when she fell earlier, but she will be fine." The young master shot a look up to me I could tell he was worried, we all were.

"My lord?" Young master looked up at me, "Have you seen Finny at all today?" It's not like him to not be around Yasmine, especially when she's sick or hurt.

"I can't say that I have, Sebastian, go look for him." I bow and head out the door, closing it behind me. I head to the garden to see Finny talking to Pluto.

"Finny? Where have you been?" I walk up behind him to see he's been crying. "What's wrong? You didn't kill everything in the greenhouse again?"

"No. I just found out about Yasmine, how she won't be able to walk for awhile and that her wrist is broken," Finny says petting Pluto to calm himself down, that boy can be really annoying, but he means well.

"Well when she wakes up I'll come get you if she lets me, I know you probably want to see her, but be careful, she's still in a lot of pain," I say trying to use my softest annoyed tone possible, he looks up at me, "really?" I nod my head yes, I just hope I'm not going to regret it. I walk back into the manor.

I hear Yasmine say my name, I walk into my room to find her wide awake, she's been sleeping for over an hour now, she has to be hungry.

"Yes kitten? Are you in pain?" I ask as I get into bed with her, taking my shirt, shoes and socks off, she cuddles up close to me, resting her injured hand on my abdomen.

"Not really, just woke up and you were gone I got lonely. Can I have something to eat, I'm starving." I chuckle and call for Mey-Rin.
