Chapter 25

I open the door and we head down the hall to the kitchen, we walk in and see Bard and Mey-Rin sitting there doing nothing.

"Hey guys," She smiles brightly at the sight of those two, Tanaka walks in and smiles.

"Ho ho ho." Is all he says. Bard gets up and hugs Yasmine, Mey-Rin follows. They wrap Yasmine in a group hug, Tanaka joins it, she grabs my shirt and pulls me into it.

I sigh and give into the hug, after a few minutes we all break the hug and I help Yasmine sit down next to the counter. The other servants haven't talked much if at all to Yasmine since we came back, I get up and make a pot of tea.

"So...uhh....Yasmine?" Bard hesitantly speaks, she looks up at him telling him that she's paying attention, "How have you and Sebastian been? Haven't really talked to ya since the day you guys left." She smiles and holds up her hand, showing all three of them her ring, their jaws dropped. I move over behind her, they look at me in astonishment and I hold my hand up, showing them my matching ring.

"We're engaged," I say and we both smile.

The real Tanaka appears, which is actually quite a surprise that he would use the limited energy he has to show up at a time like this. "Well, congratulations Yasmine and Sebastian, it's nice to see that some love has been brought back into this manor, it's been lacking it for so long now. Any idea when the wedding is?"

He smiles and I take the tea off the stove, make Yasmine a small sandwich, and pour a cup of tea for Bard, Mey-Rin, Tanaka and Yasmine, I sit next to Yasmine and move her onto my lap. She puts her injured hand my own that's resting on the table.

"We have no idea, although when it happens, would you walk me down the aisle Tanaka? I don't have a father to do it, and I would be very happy if you would." She smiles brightly at him and starts to rub my thumb with her own.

"I would be honored to walk you down the aisle at your wedding. Thank you for allowing me to. Thank you Sebastian for the tea. I fear my energy is coming to its end so I must go. Again, congratulations to you both." With that he turns into his chibi form, Yasmine gets up and hugs him.

"Mey-Rin, would you be my maid of honor at the wedding?" Mey-Rin practically jumps up and tackles Yasmine with a hug.

"Yes, I would love to be your maid of honor, yes I would!" She's so happy she starts crying tears of joy, she takes off her glasses, revealing her almost inhuman eyes, wipes them free of tears and places her glasses back on.

"Bard, would you be my best man?" I mean, yeah he's a fool but he's been there for Yasmine, who tears herself out of Mey-Rin's grip.

"Ar-Are you serious Sebastian?" Bard stutters, clearly in disbelief of me asking him. I nod yes, "I'd be honored to be your best man." He smiles.

"If you wouldn't mind, I'll be stealing Yasmine for a while," Mey-Rin and Bard push her to me, I chuckle and smile, "Thank you, please excuse use." I pick her up and walk out the door.

"Someone's being nicer than usual." She teases me, "So what, I'm in a good mood.... for once." I kiss the side of her head, "I'm glad Tanaka is going to walk me down the aisle, he's always been like a father to me." I chuckle and walk back to our room.
