On Monday, Peter could barely get out of bed. He was so tired from the weekend, he spent practically a full 8 hours doing homework on Sunday, and he couldn't fall asleep between his thoughts of Riley and whatever that woman was up to with the portal. Tony never got back to him on how the meeting went and he was super anxious about it.

He walked into the school and saw Anastasia, who was hand in hand with Christian Anthony, the well-known stoner of Midtown. Well, most of the time he was pretty out of it. "Hey, Anastasia."

"Hey, Peter," she said. "I'll see you later, baby," she gave Christian a peck on the cheek and turned to Peter. "I didn't see you at the party on Friday. Where were you?"

"I needed to get away, it was pretty boring anyway," he said. Anastasia pieced it together when he said 'get away'. "Where were you?"

"I came a little later. Me and Michelle decided to pre-game," Anastasia said, remembering what happened before the party.

"Pre-game?" Peter asked, not having heard the term before.

"Poor, sweet, innocent, Peter," Anastasia said, laughing lightly and shaking her head. "We wanted to start the party before the actual party."

"Oh," Peter said and shrugged. He was kind of embarrassed that he didn't know this term. "Then who drove?"

"We took an Uber, stop worrying," Anastasia said, laughing.

"Where have you been the past few days?" Peter asked, remembering her absence from school the week before. "You never answered my texts."

Anastasia had to think of a lie really fast. "I...wasn't feeling that well. Bad stomach virus."

"But you still came to the party?" Peter asked. Anastasia wasn't really the one to get sick, and if she did, she usually recovered within a day.

Then, the bell rang. Anastasia let out a breath she had been holding. "Gotta go." Saved by the bell.

In the first period, Riley kept getting distracted by her thoughts about the meeting two days prior. She hadn't stopped thinking about it and her dad still didn't find anything yet. She wanted to ask Peter what he knew so badly, but she wouldn't want to blow her cover. She would occasionally steal glances over at him, and one of the times, she caught him looking at her. She gulped. One other thing that was bothering her was the fact that she had not heard from Anastasia since the party.

By lunch, Riley was already exhausted. She wasn't sure where she should sit. Dean had greeted her early that morning, saying that he had to leave school early for an away game, so he had already left. She sat down with Alice and Liz. "So, what did you guys think of the party on Friday?" Riley asked.

"Honestly, I would have expected it to go on longer, but it's fine because I just went back to Dan's house. In my opinion, I had more fun there."

"Alice!" Liz said. "That's incredibly dirty and rude. As for me, I had a fun time. Anything happen with you and Dean?" she asked, kind of contradicting what she had just said.

Riley smiled remembering right before she left. "Actually, we made out a little."

"OMG really??" Alice said, squealing like a little girl. "How good is he?"

"He's pretty good," Riley said, smiling. Who knew teenage girls got excited about kissing anymore?

A voice came over the loudspeaker, barely loud enough that people could hear it. "Can Riley Stark and Peter Parker come to the main office now?" Then, the message repeated.

Riley got up from her seat, taking her schoolbag with her and headed towards the main office. She saw Peter halfway down the hall already and yelled out to him, "Hey, Peter! Wait up!"
