Today was one of the favorite days of the Vikings. They loved dressing up, and scaring one another

Today was especially a great day for the 2 couples on berk, because they were gonna do something special

Those two couples were hiccstrid and rufflout

They were planning on wearing matching costumes!

Today was especially special for hiccup and snotlout, because they were gonna propose to their women

They had planned this together for 5 months

So today, they were gonna show it off

"What are u wearing today Astrid?" Ruff asked her bff

"I am wearing a Cinderella costume and hiccup is going to be my prince!" The girl answered excitedly

Ruff laughed

"What about you?"

"Well, snotty is going as price Phillip and I am going as Sleeping Beauty"

[a/n did those exist back then? I'm pretty sure not, but just pretend it did]

Both girls started laughing, completely oblivious to how important this night was gonna be

A couple miles away, two cousins were freaking out about something...

"What if she says no!" Snotlout asked

"What if we wear the wrong costume?" Hiccup continued

"What if nothing goes according to plan!" They both yelled

"Calm down boys!" Stoic said as he and spitelout entered the room

They calmed down

"Don't worry! You will be fine!" Spitelout reasured

They both breathed in, and went out to the party, followed by stoic and spitelout

At the party

Both astrid and Ruff entered the party looking stunning! As they passed by, the boys started drooling

same thing for Snotlout and Hiccup, all the girls were drooling

when the couples met again, they kissed and went to their table with Daggur, Heather, Fishlegs and Tuffnut

they sat down and started eating, all but hiccup and snotlout

when a slow song started going on, the couples excused themselves from the table, and went to the dance

in the middle of the song, hiccup and snotlout winked at each other and walked out with their soon-to-be fiancés

when Hiccup got to the cove, he and Astrid started dancing

"I love you" astrid said

"me too"

they laughed

at about midnight [a/n do you get it?] hiccup kneeled down, and pulled out a ring from his back pocket

"astrid, I feel in love with you the day I meet you. You complete me in every way. I want to share every moment of my life with you. there will always be a hiccup and astrid. So will you marry me?"
She was crying by then
"Yes"
She jumped up and kissed him
Hiccup broke apart for air, resting his forehead on hers
"I love you"
"Same here"
They kissed again
At about 3:00 am, they went to the great hall to tell the news
Everyone was euphoric!
"When is the wedding?"  A random Viking asked
They looked at each other
"1 month" said astrid
