{really short huh! Hadn't much to say here.}
As Robert stayed at their place more often, Damien became more open to everything. They slept together and sang lullabies to Lucien, together as well. Lucien seemed to love his new dad really much. Whole new life was about to open, for Bloodmarches.
But that perfect state, did not stayed long.
'You are acting weird.'
Damien took a sip of his tea, looking at Robert froom under his eyebrows. Smalls was quiet for last few days, and it was perfectly visible, that something was not right.
'It seems I can't hide is any longer.' Robert scratched his head, with huge dissapointment on his face. Damien stared at him with many questions and worries. He waited for what comes next.
'I... I got a work.'
'This is amazing! I'm so glad Robert, why are you upset about such a wonderful thing?'
'That's because, it's... it's completely another state, you know? F-Far from here.'
'Are you kidding me.'
'No, sorry. I didn't knew, when I applied. It turned out few days ago.'
Both men sat in silence. Damien was about to cry, but... He knew, he had to stay strong. For his son.
'...What am I going to do now? I can't go to work and money I have is slowly running out... I won't be able to pay for this house for long.'
'I will leave you half of mine savings and decrease after my grandmother, she gave me. Maybe it will be enough just till you can work again?' they talked again, and Damien actually burst to tears, smiling a little bit.
'You realise you are the most, loving person, that walks on earth?'
'My ex wouldn't say the same..'
'Hahaha, oh shut your mouth. She knows nothing.' Bloodmarch hugged to Robert's arm, and Smalls laughed back, hugging Damien to him. Only few days left for them.

'Do you have everything?''I'm sure I do, huh. The only thing I'm leaving here is my love.'
'Don't be sentimental, or I will start crying. What will cause Lucien cry as well.' the day he was leaving, Damien and Lucien stood by their door. It was very early, so toddler was half-asleep, and didn't really knew, why are they standing here, instead of sleeping.
'I guess, it's the final thing, Dames. I have to go. The longer I stay, the harder it will be to go.' Robert admit, hugging Damien and Lucien to his arm. The hug stayed for good, long time. Even Lucien wasn't wiggling, or crying to release him.
'Thank you once again, Robert. I don't know, what would I do without you by our side, for that time. You helped me a lot. It was the best time, I could ever spend in my life. Am I right, Lucien?' Damien asked, making small 'hops' with his hand, where his son sat. But Lucien did not said anything. He was just looking at Robert with blank sight.
'Don't let anybody let you down. And hold on warm.'
'Take care, mr. Small!' they waved to each other. Finally, Robert sat on his motorbike and put the helmet on his head. Then, suddenly...
'Da-da.' Lucien whispered weakly, reaching his hand to Robert. Damien looked at him with unbelieving face, and he could feel tears coming up to his eyes.
'W-what did you just said, sweetie?'
'Dada!' baby laughed again, and Damien started crying. After so long time, his son finally said a word.
'R-Robert! Robert, he said 'dada'! He said 'dada' about you!!-' Damien screamed at his lover... but he was already gone.

Dear Lucien,I don't really know, what to say about that day. It was a great mix of disappointment, saddness and pure proudness. Your first word. 'Dada'. You took Robert as your actual dad. Later, you taught 'mama', and you couldn't help calling me that. On one side, you were right. But... you know the other side. I wasn't even mad. I was just waiting for a good moment to explain you everything.
But you were smarter than I thought.
We lived in this house, for next 5 years. When you turned 7, things started to complicate...
