chaptet 33

Riker's POV

We left the hospital about an hour ago now, we were on our way to Australia! I'm so excited this is our maybe 2 nd time playing here I can already tell its going to be a great show on Tuesday! I was sitting on the window side and Rydel was next to me. I pulled out my phone and went to my gallery. I scrolled to a picture of Sophia from awhile ago, I smiled at it. Rydel leaned over and looked at the screen. She pulled her head up and looked at me she smiled and rolled her eyes.

I flipped to another picture this one was one of me and Sophia, I had my arm around her and we were at six-flags. I still remember that whole day! My smile went wider. Till I heard a little girl ask me a question from behind me. I turned to her.

"is that your girlfriend?" she asked

I frowned "no" I said while shaking my head too

"why not? Why don't you ask her out then?"

I laughed a little "how old are you?"

"im 7! And and and my name is Sophia"

"your name is Sophia?"

She nodded smiling

"I'm Riker"

"so why don't you ask her out, are you scared?"

"no...I'm not scared. It's just she already has a boyfriend"

"what's her name?"

"her name is Sophia just like you!"

She gasped "really!"

"yeah"

"that's so cool! What what does she look like?"

I scrolled back to the picture of her and showed mini Sophia the picture of big Sophia. She grabbed the phone out of my hands and looked closely at Sophia. She pulled farther away from my phone and gave it back.

"Sophia is really pretty!" she said bubbly

"...yeah she is..." I looked at the picture and smiled

"hey you mister!" she said snapping, I turned my head to her "so your not going to ask Sophia out on a date?"

"no...like I said I can't"

She sighed "but what if-"

"I can't Sophia she's out of my league, has my brother as a boyfriend, and is pregnant with his babies...it's not going to happen" I turned around and sat right on my chair

I heard Sophia sigh again, I bit my lip. I pulled up the messaging app and started debating if I should just text her. It'll be a simple 'hey' or 'did you guys get a plane ticket?'

Hey Soph! are you guys out of the hospital?

I turned off my phone, I put my headphones on grabbed my laptop and listened to some new R5 song that were going to be on album 2. I was bobbing my head when my butt vibrated, it scared...the shit out of me! I took out my phone and it was a text from Sophia

Yeah were out of the hospital, I'm packing the rest of my things while Ryland is calling your grandmother (to watch Scott) and the guy that works at the airport, hes trying to get some tickets before Tuesday.

Ok, so I guess ill see you later? Or tomorrow? Or whenever you get her?

Haha yeah

I smiled, I locked my phone and went back to listening some of our songs

RYLAND'S POV

We packed the rest of Sophia's things and went to my place to (A) get my stuff and (B) pick up Scott. While we were packing up the rest of Sophia's stuff I called paul. He said he got us 2 tickets to Australia and the plane will take off in an hour. We grabbed my things and grabbed Scott's leash, bowl, and food. We made it to my grandmother's house and we dropped him off. now off to the Airport! We had about 45 minutes to get there which I think was a perfect amount of time to get there

We finally reached the airport we have 20 minutes before the plane takes off, we ran inside I was holding both of our luggages and Sophia was following close behind. We made it to the security line and got through the long line. We both put our shoes back on and started running again, I looked at my watch.

"C'mon Soph the plane takes off in 5 minutes!"

We ran faster and right before the lady was about to close the door I yelled "wait!" she saw us and opened the door, we finally got to the door panting. She looked at us with her hand held out waitng for us to hand over our tickets.

"Uh Paul sent us"

"oh hold on 1 second...." She went to the stand and asked for our names

"Ryland Lynch" I said

"S-Sophia R-Robinson-"

I looked at Sophia and my cheeks started getting hot "i-I uh... marked you as Sophia Lynch..."

She giggled the most perfect giggle which caused me to smile. The woman found our names and told us we could go in, we left our luggage there and walked in. me and Sophia walked into the plane and tried to find our seats...but we didn't find them near each other

"i-I g-guess we c-cant s-sit next t-to each other" she said sadly

"no, hold on" I looked at everyone and said "Hi...would anyone be so kind and move to this seat so I can sit next to my pregnant girlfriend" Ryland asked

A man stood up and said he will move to a different seat, me and Sophia thanked the man and made our way to the seats. I let Sophia get the window side while I got the middle with some little boy sitting on the other side of me. The plane took off and Sophia got her backpack to get something to do, I did that as well. I took out my laptop while she got out some magazine.
