Faith laughed as she skated beside Mikey in the old sewer drain. It was spacious and had tons of obstacles, just like the couple liked. Faith lept over a pipe, landing on her skateboard as she landed. "Beat that!" She told Mikey. He scoffed. "Please, Faith. I can do better with my eyes closed." As if to prove his point, He closed his eyes just as he approached a dropoff in the path, He lept upwards, doing a few clips and spins before landing perfectly on the other side. "Faith swerved around the dropoff and glared at Mikey. "You know if you'd have fallen in there, I wouldn't get you out." Mikey winked. "That's what you think."
Faith scoffed and they skated off once more.
— — —Mikey and Faith were now skating on the rooftops, at Mikey's request. Faith thought it couldn't hurt, seeing as it was safer for Mikey, being a ninja and all. She stopped suddenly and began to climb down the fire escape. Mikey followed her. "Where are ya going?" He asked. "I just wanna chill for a second. I may be getting good at being a kunoichi, but I'm still a beginner at pushing my body to its limits." Mikey nodded and watched as she sat on a garbage can. He even sat next to her.
The night was cold and silent. The wind whispered in their ears and the moonlight seemed to shine down just for them. It seemed like the perfect scene. But even the most perfect scenes have their darkest turns.
Suddenly, Faith felt a quick pick in her right arm. She yelled in pain and before she could react any further, something grabbed her foot and dragged her off if the trash can. She screamed. "MIKEY!!!!!" Mikey was instantly attentive. "FAITH!!!!!!" He exclaimed. With a sudden burst of energy, he lept forward and grabbed her hand, pulling her away from whatever was trying to take her away from him. "Hang on, Faith, I've got you!" He said, pulling with all his might. Faith clutched onto his hand for dear life, pure terror in his eyes. Her hand began to slip, and nothing could stop her as she was dragged into the darkness. "FAITH!" Mikey cried. He began to hyperventilate. He'd let her go! How could this have happened. He couldn't breathe. He'd let her go. He'd let her slip away.
