The sea has held many children those who are born from the lives that live in his depths and the children who loose their lives in it's deafening grip, this child belongs to the sea this child is the daughter that was birthed from the ocean, her name is Marina.
A man and woman walked along the beach the woman held a small infant in her arms. "Dear, I think she likes it out here near the water" the woman gave her husband a gentle smile the baby made a slight gurgling before the man could answer they heard a shrill cry they both looked at their baby but their baby was silent. "That is a child..." her husband looked around and started to hurry along the ocean side when he spotted the child.
Their wrapped in a sea foam white blanket sat a baby girl what was strange was that the water was up past were her head was but it went around her not touching her. The man crouched down and picked the small girl up in his arms her cries stopped as her small green/blue eyes looked up at him and he got a better look at her; her skin was a coco color and she had a head full of little black hair that curled. "Hello, little one. Where are your parents?" he whispered his wife joined his side she looked at the child and smiled only for a moment before it disappeared she looked around finding no one.
"I don't see anyone. Her parents must have left her" she spoke up as she held her daughter close. The man moved the blanket finding a name embroidered their, "Marina.. That is your name?" he whispered as if the infant could understand him; she then started to gurgle happily as the woman looked at the baby.
"We can't leave her" the woman spoke up he looked at her.
~11 years later~
In the midst of a impenetrable thick fog is a large ship on the the top deck two young girls singing 'A Pirates Life for me' as it got closer too the two girls one had dirty blond hair and brown eyes porcelain white skin wearing a grey dress, the other girl had black hair that curled and blueish green eyes coco brown skin wearing a dress with flowers and little pink ribbons tied around her waist. "Yo, ho, yo, ho, a pirate's life for me. Yo, ho, yo, ho, it's a pirate's life for me..." their voices carried over the water.
"...Drink up me hearties, yo, ho..." the brown eye'd one sang the ending the other girl looked out over the water, a man walked up he was middle aged and had a beard behind the two girls he placed a hand on each one of their shoulders. "Quiet, missys! Cursed pirates sail these waters. You want to call 'em down on us?" the man whispered hurriedly both the girls looked at him wide eyed.
"Mr. Gibbs" A younger man approached; he was dashing and looked to be apart of the Royal Navy beside him stood the man who found the baby before he has aged well, "That will do" the dashing young man responded. "They was singing about pirates. Bad luck to sing about pirates, with us mired in this unnatural fog- mark my words" the man Mr.Gibbs looked at them.
"Consider them marked. On your way" The young man spoke again Mr.Gibbs looked at the man. "Aye, Captain. Bad luck to have a woman on board, too. Even mini'ture ones" Mr. Gibbs spoke the dark haired girl looked up at the younger man she admired him but the other girl looked uninterested.
"I think it would be rather exciting to meet a pirate" the girl with the porcelain skin spoke a look of wonder in her eyes. "Only if their good Pirates. If their are good ones" the other girl spoke up asking the taller man.
"Think again, Miss. Elizabeth and Miss. Marina. Vile and dissolute creatures, the lot of them. I intend to see to it that any man who sails under a pirate flag, or wears a pirates brand, gets what he deserves: a short drop and a sudden stop" the young man said Mr.Gibbs made a thing as if he was a man being hung this caused the dark haired girl to jump. "Captain Norrington... I appreciate your fervor, but I am concerned about the effect this subject will have on my daughters" the girls father.
"My apologies, Governor" the young man Norrington spoke up. "Actually, I find it all fascinating" the young girl Elizabeth exclaimed the other one looked a little stunned at her words.
"And that's what concerns me. Elizabeth, dear... we will be landing in Port Royal very soon, and beginning our new lives. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we comport ourselves as befits our class and station?" their father spoke. "Yes, father" Elizabeth responded looking away as he walked off, "I still think it would be exciting to meet a pirate..." she whispered the last part.
Both Elizabeth and Marina stood there looking over the side of the ship they can see a woman's umbrella floating in the water and then they see a boy floating on a piece of drift wood, "Look! A boy! In the water!" Marian and Elizabeth exclaimed as they pointed him out. "Man overboard!" Norrington shouted not realizing what the girls had said.
"Boy overboard!" Elizabeth exclaimed looking at the man. "Fetch a hook! Haul him out of there!" Norrington finally realizing what the girls we're saying everyone worked too pull up the young boy as they get him on the deck of the ship both the girls watch, "He's still breathing" Norrington spoke up as they leaned down.
"Where did he come from?" the girl's father spoke as he walked up too them Gibbs stood looking toured something else. "Mary mother of God ..." everyone turned seeing a wrecked ship on fire it was quiet no screams just the crackling of flames and the water slapping against the ship.
"What happened here?" their father spoke Marina gripped Norrington's coat slightly; he looked down at her seeing she was afraid. "An explosion in the powder magazine. Merchant vessels run heavily armed" he said in a reassuring voice as he looked at the girl as she shook slightly.
"Lot of good it did them... Everyone's thinking it! I'm just saying it! Pirates!"Gibbs spoke up causing Marina to whimper her father becoming rapid. "There is no proof of that. It could have been an accident. Captain, these men were protection. If there is even the slightest chance one of those poor devils is still alive, we cannot abandon them!" he exclaimed.
"Of course not, Governor. Come about and strike the sails! Unlash the boats! Gunnery crew... jackets off the cannons! Hope for the best...prepare for the worst. Move the boy aft. We'll need the deck clear" Norrington started commanding everyone to the places they needed too be; Marina's father pulled her and Elizabeth too the side "Elizabeth, Marina, I want you two to accompany the boy. He's in your charge now. You'll watch over him?" he whispered too them they both nodded.
Both girls walk over and stand by the boy as he still lays unconscious, Elizabeth reached out and brushed some of his hair out of his face when she did his hand grabs her wrist causing both girls to gasp his eyes locked with Elizabeth's as she gently takes his hand in hers,"My name is Elizabeth Swann and this is my sister Marina Swann" she whispered too him. "Will Turner" he breathed out.
"We're watching over you, Will" both the sisters said at the same time he then fell unconscious, Elizabeth grabbed a gold piece that was on his neck looking at it while Marina's eyes shift too the water she stood up walking too the deck and she saw it her blueish green eyes saw a large black ship going into the mist.
"Are you okay? Miss. Swann?" Norrington approached Marina's side she looked up at him as he looked at the water now she noticed the boat was gone. "Yes, Captain Norrington" she looked up at him.
