Am I Gone?

I wake up to my alarm clock. My favorite song is playing, Let it Go, the Disney version. (yes I like Frozen don't judge, just because I'm 18 years old doesn't mean I can't like Disney!)

I brush my dark red hair. It's naturally straight so not much there I have to do. I put my jeans on and my soccer sweatshirt. Next is my makeup just a little foundation, eyeshadow, and mascara.

I grab a quick breakfast and head out the door to school. I hop into my car and drive off.

Once I get to school I spot my best friend just outside the schools entrance doors. I run to catch up to them. "Hey guys."

"Hey Kimmy."

"Hey Nikki"

"I can't wait for our game tonight. We are gonna crush the Blue Hawks!" I say almost screaming.

"Yeah! lets kick their blue butts!"

"Pumas on 3!"

"1...2...3!"

"PUMAS" we both scream at the top of our lungs.

We both walk to our class, we have the same one. Gym, Mr. Grown.

I change for gym and head out to go sit in the bleachers.

"Hey did you hear about the new kid?"

"No who is it?"

Just then Mr. Grown interrupts and says, "Quite down students. We have someone new. Tell them your name son."

A sexy, good looking, and muscular boy (or should I say man walks forward) and says with the most adorable British accent, "Hello, I'm Theo James. I just moved here from London." He walks towards me, and Nikki being so sociable she ask him about his life.

He says,"I've played soccer my whole life and I'm 100% dedicated to it. That's all you really need to know."

"I love soccer too. It's basically my life." I say maybe a little too enthusiastic.

"Wow. Never thought I would meet a girl who likes soccer as much as I do."

"I never said I like soccer as much as you do."

"O." He says almost disappointed.

"I'm saying I like soccer way more than you."

"Is that so?" he says walking closer to me.

"Okay student lets get class started. Today we are playing soccer. Kimmy and Jean you are team captions. You both get to pick 2 people you want on your team."

I let Jean go first. He will always picks his dumb football friends, so it won't affect my choices.

He picks is dumb friend my turn.

"Nikki." No surprise there I always pick her.

Jean goes next and picks another brain dead football jock.

"Theo." Nikki looks at me weird.

"What?" I say confused.

"Why Theo?"

"He's the only other person that plays soccer. Plus I bet he's pretty good."

"O my gosh! You totally like him!"

"Like who?" Theo says smirking.

I turn completely red, but save myself from embarrassment and say, "Adam Levine."

"Who?"

Nikki laughs, "Just a singer. You,ll learn Theo. You'll learn.

"Who's ready to play soccer?" Mr. Grown yells after assigning everyone else to their teams. I look around, and I have a pretty good team.

We've played for 15 minutes and we are already up by 6, but who's counting? Theo is a lot better than I thought.

He's amazing, sexy, hot... Ok I really need to stop with my crush on Theo. I don't have time for a relationship with soccer and applying to collages. Plus I barley even know him!

After 30 minutes off kicking Jeans team butt I return to the locker room and get changed.

LUNCH TIME

Nikki and I sit in our regular seat with the some other girls on the soccer team and a few of my other friends. I wouldn't say that we are popular and I wouldn't say we aren't. We actually don't care. It's funny watching the other girls try to be popular.

Theo walks in looking for a seat.

"You should totally ask him to sit with us." Nikki says giggling.

"No way I can't let a boy get me distracted. I have too much things going on."

"Theo, Theo. Over here sit with us!" Nikki yells.

"What the hell are you doing Nikki!?"

"What? Don't be like that. You and I both know you like him. Why can't you have a guy in your life Kimmy? You're totally hot and absolutely great. Please just give him a chance, and see how it goes. Ok?"

"OK."

Theo sits down.

"Hey Theo. Nice game" I say trying to act cool. Nikki nudges my side and whispers, "Be yourself don't force it."

"Thanks..."

"O I'm sorry I forgot I didn't tell you my name. I'm Kimmy..." Nikki interrupts me. "Don't forget the captain of the soccer team."

"Nikki. He doesn't care about that."

"No I don't mind. That's actually pretty cool."

"Yeah it's just her 2nd time being captain. In a row!" Nikki blurts out.

"Nikki!" I step on her foot.

"Ow!" She screams. Then whispers, "Fine I'll leave."

She leaves, and it's just Theo and I.

"So I umm I-I have a soccer game today. Would you like to go. You know JUST to see how the Pumas play."

"O that's sounds like fun. Sure I will go"

"Great see you there."
