Am I Gone?

GRADUATION

Theo takes me back to my house.

"Goodnight." He kisses me.

I pull him back for another, but it turns into a full on make out session. I pull away remembering my mom.

"Bye babe."

(Skipping to graduation day!)

I wake up extra early, so I can get ready. I can't believe it. Today I will be officially out of high school. I'll be on my way to discovering the world.

I go to my bathroom to curl my hair. It takes about a hour. I put on my makeup. I put on neutral eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, and lip gloss.

Once I'm done I go to my room to put on my dress. My dress is 5 inches above my knee. It has a floral design.

When I'm done it's time to go. I grab my cab and gown, and go out the door with my mom.

We get to the school. The ceremony is outside. Thank goodness it's not to hot or to cold.

I get into my cap and gown. I see Theo.

"Hey sweet heart." I say kissing him.

"Hi. Damn you look great. I love your outfit." He says smiling.

"Aww thanks babe." I say hitting his arm playfully. "You look sexy too. Umm do you mind if my mom takes our picture?"

"No not at all. In fact do you mind if my parents do the same?"

"No not at all."

My mom and Theo's parents take our picture.

Theo looks at his watch. "Look like it's time."

"Okay lets go. Bye mom."

"Bye." My mom says.

"You ready to speak?" Theo asks me.

"Yup." Yeah I was chosen to speak.

The ceremony starts.

We all walk in. I sit on the stage next to the principal and other students speaking.

I'm the last person to speak, so if I mess up people will remember.

I will spare you the beginning. (Author: I just went to a graduation, and dang are those things long)

"Now please give a hand for our last speaker. Kimmy Green." (Author: I totally forgot Kimmy's name. I don't even know if I have her one, so I made one up) The crowd claps.

I get up and walk to the podium. I look into the crowd and see Theo's smiling at me. I smile back.

"Hello everyone. I can't believe it, but we made it! Today we celebrate one of our biggest accomplishments so far. Graduation! Today we celebrate making it through all the test, all the notes, and all of our accomplishments at school. I'm not going to lie to you. I was terrified. This year as many of you know I got a big concision. I forgot the most important thing. The people I love. Even though I forgot them they never stopped trying to help me. They never quit on me, and I never really thanked them for that. So thank you Theo and Nikki. In fact how about on the count of three we all say the names of the people you are thankful for. 1... 2... 3..." Everyone screams people's names. I wait for everyone to settle down. "Now today we are leaving high school, but that doesn't mean we have to leave our friends. So if you take anything out of this speech. I hope you take away to never let true friends go. Thank you." Everyone cheers.

I sit back into my seat.

Skipping to where they hand out diplomas

They call my name. I walk onto the stage. I shake my principals hand and take my diploma. I sit back down.

I watch and cheer as Nikki's and Theo's names are called.

When everyone one has there diploma our principal walks to the podium.

"I'm glad to say you are now graduates of Glenn Wood High home of the Pumas!"

We all throw our hats up in the air.

Once we find everyone's caps we can go home.

I see Theo. I run up to him and jump on him. My legs are rapped around his waist. We kiss.

"Your speech was great." He says.

"Your great." I say.
