Am I Gone?

Ice Castle

"...amazing!"

In front of me is a building that looks like it was built from ice.

"Remind you of anything?" he says smiling.

It takes me a second to realize what he's talking about. "'Frozen.'"

"Ding ding ding. Correct." He says laughing.

I just stare wide eyed looking at it. Not moving. I'm afraid if I move time will pass me by.

"Wanna go inside, or do you prefer to just imagine the in-"

I stop him with a kiss. "I'd love to go inside." I lace our fingers together.

We walk inside. It's just like in the movie. A great big room with an ice-y stair case.

"Beautiful?" he ask me.

I just shake my head saying yes.

He laughs. "Kimmy, you look like a kid in a candy store."

All I can do is stare. He leads me up the stairs. Upstairs is different from the movie, but still beautiful.

Upstairs it has bedrooms, bathrooms, a living room, etc.

"Wanna eat?" Theo asks.

"I'm starving." I say.

"Okay lets go."

"But I don't want to leave." I say before he leads me down stairs.

"I never said we're leaving."

He leads me to the dinning room.

"Theo you-" but before I got the whole sentence out of my mouth a woman takes my hand.

"She's going to doll you up for dinner. While I myself get dolled up." He smiles and walks away.

The woman takes me to a dressing room.

"You're 'friend' told us all about your story." She says.

"He's my boyfriend, but what story?"

"How you forgot your dearest friends, and how you had to fall in love all over again." She responds.

"O. Well it wasn't hard to fall in live again as you can see."

She looks at me with a questionable look.

"Well it's not hard to fall in love with someone who does all these romantic gestures, and he doesn't even ask for anything in return." I smile at her.

By the time our conversation is over I'm dressed in a dress that looks similar to Elsa's dress.

"Hair and make up time." The women says while leading me to a mirror. Another woman walks in and plays with my hair.

"Do we want hair like Elsa?"

I think for a minute then answer, "No, Elsa is my favorite character, but I don't want to look exactly like her. The dress is good enough for me. I want to look like me."

"Wise chose." she smiles at me.

When she's all done my hair is curled with some pieces pined back to look like a flower.

She puts my makeup on. It's natural, but brings out the blue in the dress.

"Ready for dinner?" A man knocks on the door.

"Yes." The woman replies.

She leads me to the stairs, so I can walk down with a big entrance.

Classy music starts to play signaling me to walk down. I start to walk. I realize Theo is waiting for me at the bottom.

He's wearing a nice fitted suit. His tie matches my dress.

When I reach the end of the stairs he hands me a flower while extending his arm out for me to take it.

"Damn you look sexy." He says in my ear.

"You don't look to bad yourself. Lets eat."
