Tainted Love.

Confusion.

HAVENT UPDATED IN AGES. Im so sorry.. This is a short chapter, yes. But i will update tomorrow <3

It had been a few days since John had rocked up to my door, I hadn’t seen him since. Well, it has only been 2 days. But I still haven’t seen him around... He hasn’t been at school.

I would be lying if I said I didn’t care. I honestly still love John, I love him. But I’m just angry at him, and I can’t hack that he lied in front of the whole school.  I directed my eyes towards the door as David, my best friend... That I had kissed... We haven’t been talking either, but we still hang out together. I’m actually being stupid. If John found out I kissed him, then I would be screwed. If I tell him what I did, we could be equal. Well not really... There’s a difference of getting humiliated in front of the entire school, and being cheated on.  Well, you can’t say I cheated. I merely kissed him, which wasn’t meant to be, it wasn’t supposed to happen. It was a mistake.  David walked across the room, and placed his books next to mine. He smiled at me shortly, before he sat down. I directed my eyes to the board, as I acted as I listened. I noticed from the corner of my eye that David was writing something. I was shrugging it off before he slid it across the desk to me. I looked at him as I furrowed my brows. He just eyed the piece of paper. I shrugged it off, before I un-folded the piece of paper.

‘We haven’t been talking Alexis.. I’m sorry for what happened in the sick bay. It wasn’t meant to happen, I’m sorry. Please forgive me. I can’t stand being away and being apart from you. You are my best friend... I want to stay best friends. Forgive me.’

I looked back at him, as I examined his face. He looked towards me before I lowered my eyes back to the paper. I grabbed my blue ballpoint pen and began to write. I slid the paper back to him, as I looked up to the board... Clearly trying not to make it obvious. I waited for him to unfold it and to read it. He looked up at me and gave me the biggest grin. I smiled back at him as under the table he grabbed my hands and gave them a quick squeeze.  I squeezed them back as coughing came from behind me. I looked around to see John sternly looking at our hands. I shrugged him off and turned around. I then looked back again to this ‘Psht, psht.’ Then came a white scrunched up paper, hitting my cheek. I squinted before I picked it up. I turned back to see John nodding his head. I was tempted to read it but, I decided not to.

“Miss, can I please get up to go to the rubbish bin.” I said as I waited for a reply.

I heard a small whimper / groan behind me, as I smiled.

“Yes sure.” Miss Galleo replied.

I stood up and made my way to the rubbish bin, I knew for a fact that everyone was watching me, as I heard whispering. I was the class clown. (Not in a fucking good way) I stood near the bin for a few seconds, and turned around and walked back to my desk. I decided not to throw it. But I made sure to ‘Pretend’ to throw it in the bin. I un-folded it and read it.

‘I hope what I do is enough to make you accept my apology. Make sure you come to the school assembly.’

I knotted my eyebrows as David tried to snatch it off me. But I didn’t give in. I thought of all the possibilities of what he could do… But I couldn’t figure it out. I looked back to see John doodling on his book, but then realized I was looking at him.I shook my head as I signalled to ‘What are you doing?’ He shot me a grin… And I realized this kid was going to do something unique.
