"What could I do to apologize...? For everything that I have done to you and yet I haven't agreed to our promise yet. Now... You might leave me... And I... I... I still haven't told them..."
I sat by Cora patiently, ranting on about the promise we had made together hoping she would hear me. With Summer gone... She's all I know I have left. But without hope, we also need the Flower of the North to help Jason... It'll be tough... But... I know we can do this.
Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw dad there, just as mich sadness on his face that was on mine.
"Taylor, are you alright?" Dad aked, and I shook my head.
"N-No... I... I was to slow..." I admitted, and dad looked confused.
"What do you mean Taylor?" He asked me.
"When Adam threw her out the window, I-I... I froze... If I had reacted immediately... Maybe... Maybe she wouldn't be like this..." I said as I looked at Cora. She was still peacefully sleeping on the couch. Dad sighed.
"Listen son. There was no way you could have reacted any faster than you did. Cora was in safer hands then, and she is in even safer hands now. Your a good brother, Taylor. There was just nothing you could do." Dad explained to me. I nodded.
"Maybe your right..." I said, as dad gave off a cheep smile.
"That's more like it. Now come on. I have things to say to these... Delinquents." Dad said, and I groaned.
"Thier soldiers, dad, not street rats." I said, as we made our way towards the living room where the others were at.

I don't know about Summer, but I don't trust this guy. Sure we have no recollection of past memories whatsoever, but still! What type of luck woukd occur for him to be able to be there at that exact moment? Something doesn't smell right. But, he is our only lead for what had happened to us... And frankly... I don't want to end up on this guys bad side.
