*Light pov*

I had been released from captivity, but I was still a suspect and L had handcuffed himself to me. We were to stay handcuffed at all times, until he decided otherwise.

I didn't actually mind too much. It was better to be around him all the time than Misa.

So I'd just spent my first day chained to him and now I lay in his bed. He sat on a chair beside the bed while I tried to sleep, but it was a spinning chair and he kept forgetting about the handcuffs and waking me up every time I fell asleep.

"Ryuzaki, can you please sit still?!" I eventually snapped.

"I can't, I'm too hyper."

"Well that's because you've eaten about 300 lollipops in the last hour alone."

He looked at the empty bags of lollipops beside him.

"You're right, Light-kun, I am guilty. I'm nervous, I've never slept with someone before. I mean, slept beside someone, I wasn't assuming you'd sleep with me, I just-"

I broke out laughing, suddenly wide awake.

"Oh Ryuzaki, you're priceless. You're so cute when you're flustered. But just lie beside me so I can sleep, or we can have sex or whatever."

L almost fell off the chair and I roared laughing.

"Your face though. I never knew you were so easy to tease."

"It's not nice to tease someone, Light," He said as he got into the bed beside me.

"Oh but sometimes it is," I smirked.
