"So. What's you're name?" Lance asked Keith. Keith however quickly became confused, he had already given his Galran name to them. He voiced his thoughts.
"I gave you my name." Keith reminded them. He was confused by their statement, he clearly remembers giving his Galran name to Matt Holt, he must have told them all by now. Pidge however quickly explained. "Your real name."
Keith was about to reply that it was my real name, when Bada decided to join in the most innapropriate manner. "Little one. That was the name given to him by his mother. Please don't insult it." Keith looked towards her, only to see that she was dragging the sleeping male in one hand, and the two females in the other. She was grabbing all of them by the loose skin on the back of their neck. The trio however, were dead asleep.
Sitting down cross legged in a space between Keith and Shiro, she laid the trio on the ground. She then continued speaking, interrupting Pidge in her backtracking sentence. "In Galran culture." She began, looking at nobody in particular. "Names are very important and valued, to insult the name of a Galran, is to insult their family, if they have one."
Everyone fell silent. Keith just sighed at Bada's spought of information.
"Mother that was way too-"
"Shut your mouth. " Bada commanded. She then continued. "Can't you see i'm trying to be cool and 'hang'" Keith sweatdropped at her attempt at human teen language. "Mother this is not Earth." Keith realized his mistake in speech a little too late. However no one said a word.
An awkward silence descended upon the group once more.
"Soooo." Hunk drawled, trying to start up conversation once more. Keith's ears perked up at Hunks attempt, eyes training on his form with wide golden eyes. "Yes?" Keith asks him, trying to pull the question resting on Hunk's tongue.
Hunk never did make eye contact with Keith as he started to ramble out his question.
"S-So, um, you call her Mom, but....um.... is she your real mom? Like, you guys look nothing alike and everything, I mean there are always people who don't look like there parents but-" Hunks rambling was interrupted by Bada. "Please cease your speech. I knew humans could speak for awhile without breathing but this is just ridiculous."
While Hunk was dumbly sputtering because of Bada's very blunt words, Keith was lightly chuckling. 'Oh goodness I missed the stuttering' Keith thought to himself. Even though he used to find it oddly annoying because it would sidetrack him from his goal. After a while of not having something around you that was almost constant in you daily life, you begin to miss a lot of things that you used to find just downright bothering. "To answer your question. She is not my biological mother, however she has cared for me as such. Everyone who is aware of Bada calls her Mother, because even though she is tough, she always helps those in need" Bada lightly smacked his arm, and Keith laughed when his sensitive hearing picked up Bada muttering. "Over exaggerating, purple, little asshole."
When he got a few light astonished glances for laughing he waved them off, apologizing lightly as he asked. "What?"
It was Lance that decided to reply to him. "I have never heard a Galran laugh before. Well that's not true, there was that one guy who diabolically laughed at me, but that's off track..." Shiro lightly touched his own chin in interest as Pidge decided to note. "When you laughed, an underlying purr like sound resonated with the waves of your laugh. Very interesting, is this a common trait among Galran people?"
Keith thought about it for a minute. He had heard his mother Lyra laugh in the visions that were supplied by Bada, but never payed the tiny detail any thought. Now that he recalls it now, he could also hear the miniscule purr in her laugh. Recalling the memories of his parents made his ears drop slightly but replied anyway. "I'm not quite sure to be honest." Keith's hand found it's way to the back of his neck, raising his dark red, worn out poncho.
"What do you mean? Don't you like, know everything about Galran's since you are one?"Hunk asked, confused by his lack of knowledge. Keith looked at the Paladins, and told them the basic truth. " I was not born in the Galran empire. My mother had gone out on a mission to search for a new planet with intelligent life to conquer, however she met my father and fell in love on the planet she found. She had me on that planet, however she didn't take me back with me in fear that I would be used and exposed into the hell of being a Galran soldier. Especially with being a half-breed, which are highly looked down upon as inferior, dirty or weak. She left me with my father, as well as giving me that blade that was taken from me. " Keith growled slightly, not noticing the dark looks in the Paladins eyes as his story reminded them of the lost red Paladin.
A tense silence covered them, but was interrupted as Coran burst through the door.

---------A few minutes before---------------------------------------------------
Coran was reviewing the data the ship had picked up during the day that they landed on the bipolar planet.
Something just didn't sit right with him when he saw the Galran dressed in a simple red poncho and furred skin pants, his unusually long, dark, and wild hair tied back loosely, bleeding out in the arms of Hunk and Shiro. Something was very very familiar about the Galran that he just couldn't place, and it was bothering him. In the back of his mind, he thought of Keith and how Keith's and the Galran's voices sounded very familiar to one another. He quickly dismissed the thought when his heart ached at the memory of the red Paladin however.
Coran had gathered a blood sample of the Galran, whose name he still had yet to know, and was waiting for the results of said blood sample as he examined the digital data of the previous day. Coran had already skimmed through the data of the comms recordings, physical injury report, mental status of all the Paladins, and was now looking for another category to look through next.
He skimmed through them before his eyes were pulled to the file reading "LIFEFORM WAVELENGTHS/VITAL SIGNS" In bold Altean language. 'If I can find anything on this Galran, then it would be here.' Calran thought to himself. He noted silently that this form of data was the exact same way that they had found Shiro. After he had found Shiro with this method of data collection, he had set up an emergency alarm that would inform him of any lifeform wavelengths that were structurally identical to their very own Red paladin.
He entered the file, and almost literally had an official Altean heart attack.
There sitting upon the data set of the Galran, was a yellow box that had the words 'POTENTIAL ALLERT' sitting there.
The next few minutes were spent carefully examining the data that was placed before him, and comparing to old record files of the Red Paladin to the newer Galran data. Then he finally came to a conclusion.
"Oh Quiznak.....
