Chapter Six

Aaminin ko. Hindi ako makatulog. Hanggang ngayon kasi ay paulit-ulit na nag-pplay sa utak ko ang mga salitang binitawan ni Neil sa akin. Bago sa pakiramdam na sobrang kinikilig ako. No one dares to kiss me ever since because I am aloof with people especially with men. Yes, there are some men who talked to me and confessing their love but I just can't feel the sparks that I am feeling right now with Neil. I can't explain.

Nagtalakbong na lang ako baka sakaling dalawin ako ng antok. Ilang minuto pa lang ang nakakalipas ay naramdaman ko ang pag-vibrate ng phone ko na nasa side table ng kama. Kinuha ko ang phone at saka ko nakita ang sunod-sunod na messages sa group chat naming magkakaibigan.

Annabeth De Leon: Nakanang! Ang haba ng hair ng isa dyan.

Anna Flores: Alam naman namin na may gusto ka kay Neil kahit ilang beses kang mag-deny pero sinolo mo naman masyado siya girl nang umalis na kami. Ano? Kumusta ang pisngi natin dyan? May gana ka pa bang maghilamos?

Dianne Taylor: Baka nga pwede nang ilagay sa glass box ang pisngi niya tapos lalagyan ng commemorate.

Annabeth De Leon: OMG, I love your idea, @Dianne Taylor. Hahahaha.

Annabeth De Leon: Ano, seen lord ka na lang ba dyan ateng? @Nathalia Zamora

Medyo naguguluhan ako sa mga sinasabi ng kaibigan ko hanggang sa may sinned si Anna na picture at doon ay nakahalik sa pisngi ko si Neil. Anakng!

Nathalia Zamora: Oy! Sinong source niyo? Edited yan!

Mabilisan kong tinype at ganoon na lang ang angry react agad ng mga kaibigan ko.

Anna Flores: Scammer! Saan ang edit dyan? Amin na kasi @Nathalia Zamora nanliligaw na ba si doc sa iyo at may pahalik pa?

Dianne Taylor: This is the start of your romance na ba, @Nathalia Zamora?

Annabeth De Leon: Share some details!

Hindi ko alam kung anong i-rereply ko sa kanila. Miski ako rin kasi hindi ko alam paano i-explain sa sarili ko ang mga nangyayari.

Nathalia Zamora: He is courting. That's all I can say. I can't elaborate much aside from we enjoyed each others company when we go out and eat outdoors. When he sent me messages, he made me feel happy and when he's around, I feel secured. Masaya siya kasama and about sa picture, I didn't expect that he will kiss me.

My friends just put a heart reaction on my message and I cannot help myself to smile. They congratulated me for at last there is a man I let to know me. Then puro kalokohan na ang mga pinagsasabi nila teasing me. These girls, I don't know how will I survive a year without them. Ang saya lang talaga.

When I wake up, I already received a message from Neil. He just reminded me to take some breakfast before going to Fiax to fix my reservation and registration for medical school. He even  ask if we can take lunch together and I gladly accept. 

I clean myself and just wear a navy blue dress with white sandals. It is just a casual look since I know that we will just share a meal and some conversations since meron pa rin naman siyang class. As soon as I reached the university, I texted Neil that I am already in the cafeteria near their building. I just waited for some minutes then I saw him approaching. Bagay na bagay talaga sa kanya ang puti. His uniform is a white polo and white slacks then may nameplate na nakalagay sa may right side. 

"Hi! Good morning. How's the class?" I asked him. 

Hinila niya ang upuan na nasa unahan ko at ibinaba ang bag na dala niya. "Good morning, Amery. Class is still the same. Ikaw? Kumusta? Kanina ka pa ba?" Our eyes met each other and I can say that he looks like looking for something kaya naatanong ako.

"May dumi ba?"

He smiled and kita na naman ang dimples niya . Ang gwapo talaga niya. 

"None. I just find myself drowning from your beauty."

Napangiti ako. Jusko! Ang galing naman niyang bumanat. Lord, if may nagawa po akong good deeds before, sobrang thank you for the blessings especially sa nasa harapan ko!

"Grabe siya! H'wag kang ganyan sa akin mamaya patulan ko ang sinabi mo." 

He just chuckled and then smile. "About my question?"

" I am good and don't worry hindi naman ako naghintay ng matagal. Tara, let's eat first before going to registrar. Naka lunch break na ata sila."

He nod and put his books outside of his bag and put it above the table. I just fix my things and we both order our foods. There are alot of viands to offer kaya hindi na rin kami nahirapan. After getting our food, we went back to our table. We just talk random stuffs such as what subject after his break then I ask also for some tips. 

"When you are a freshman, clerk naman ako kaya don't worry if hindi mo nakuha yung topic, I will teach you." He offered.

"Sure ka ba dyan? For sure busy ka rin since na-duty ka na that time." I am hesitant for his offer but on the otherhand, I really want to accept. Magkakaroon pa rin kasi kami ng oras para sa isa't-isa and mas makikilala ko pa siya aside from me benefiting his intelligence and time.

"Don't worry about me. I won't offer if I cannot. Tsaka, ayaw mo 'yon magkakasama pa tayo." He said.

"I want kaso I am thinking, graduating ka na rin and you should focus since there will be revalida."

"Okay, let us just plan that when we cross the road, already."

I agree on him about that and we get our things and put our plates at the designated place. The cafeteria is on CLAYGO scheme and it is good since it develops responsibility to people and as the same time, nababawasan yung work tasks ng mga worker.

Sabay kaming naglalakad ni Neil and I can say he is really tall. Yung sandals ko may konting heels pero mas matangkad pa rin sa akin si Neil. His height ranges around 5'7 to 5'11. Ang tangkad! As we walk, naramdaman ko ang kamay niya na nakahawak sa kamay ko. I look at him and smile. 

Huwag na sana matapos ang araw na ito.
