For the rest of the week Luna was particularly attentive to her bosses health. She brought him a few things that might help him keep up his wellness, like some mandarins she got from her tree at home and some honey and lemon for his tea which she had procured from her last expedition to China. The tea was meant to have some very powerful healing qualities. He didn't appreciate that she thought this would be better than his morning coffee, especially since at the moment there was a big account up for grabs. He needed to do his research to impress this client enough to have them choose the Malfoy Company instead of Brooms and co.

Luna did actually help with the account in other ways however, which half made up for the swap  of his morning intake of caffine. She was a good researcher (partially from skills gained as a writer, which Draco didn't know about... he certainly didn't realise she was actually researching him right now for a character in her next novel. She found all of the relevant documents they had available in the office and also organised sourcing some outside information through a contact from one of the accountants of the possible client who was an old friend of hers from a time she went travelling in Germany.

Luna's efforts in the area of increasing Draco's immune system did seem to be working actually, as she noted to him his eyes looked brighter and he had shiny-er hair. He had been taken slightly aback by Luna's compliments at his appearance (although they were half compliments to herself for looking after him so well) as he wondered if she even noticed things like the way people looked sometimes, but then he had quickly told her that he had no use for shiny hair and he would much have preferred his regular coffee to it. Luna had simply laughed. However, it was good, Draco admitted to himself, that he was feeling more spritely from her care as they would be doing a few late nights for a while while they were working towards getting this account.

On the Friday Draco told Luna she could go home at the right time because he'd assumed she might want to go out for Friday night and he'd kept her in late for the last three days running. But Luna had declined.
"No Draco we have so much to do!" Luna said with anguish over the fact that he thought he could send her home. Draco Laughed "I'm sure I can handle this" he said in his usual self assured cocky way. He'd always done this stuff by himself, his old assistants would have jumped at the idea of being able to leave the office, or perhaps leave his presence he thought chuckling a little. Besides he felt like he was starting to become too dependent on Luna. Honestly she was acting like she was more than just his assistant bringing him fruits and teas and coming to his house when he wasn't well, they laughed together too much, he'd been spending too much time with her, he was getting used to her strange ways... it had seemed lately that they were almost like friends, or...yeah friends.

"Draco I'm staying" Luna said as if hardly noticing what he had said. Wasn't he the boss here? He looked at his loopy blonde assistant just sitting at her desk looking through papers, seemingly very focused on her task. She finally noticed he was still looking at her and she looked up back at him. "Draco really, I'd just be thinking about all the research papers I could be going through back here anyway" Luna said giving Draco an earnest expression. "Well perhaps I want you to go home because you'd distract me from my work" Draco said annoyed that she wouldn't just follow his orders and go home. "I promise not to! I'll be quiet as a mouse" Luna argued in defence of staying miming zipping her lips and throwing away a key to symbolize her would be silence. Draco groaned. He could hardly tell her that it wasn't just her irish lilting voice that was distracting to him. Even when she was quiet her glow drew his eyes to her pretty face and golden locks that looked as though sun was shining on them even inside. "Fine". "Really Draco I don't know why you're acting so upset. Shouldn't you be happy I'm staying? We'll get through all this work much quicker together" Luna told him without trepidation of her bosses reaction to being told what he should be feeling and thinking.

He knew bloody well what he should not be thinking and he was thinking it all the time with Luna in his presence. She was intoxicating to him. Like some ethereal being that used dark magic to make his thoughts hardly stray from her where they really should have been focused on his work solely. Her being his assistant was a joke. He did much better without her Draco thought moodily, but then he did remind himself that it was hardly her fault that he found her so attractive, she did her best, she was probably in hindsight the hardest working employee he'd had, not that he'd ever tell her that. "I thought you said no talking" Draco said grumpily as he went to get some papers from his desk. If she was going to insist on staying he would be putting her to work. Draco came out of his office with a devilish look on his face. Luna looked a little worried at the expression. He was holding a whole load of papers and he casually slammed them down on Luna's desk. He then proceeded to use his wand to move Luna's desk into the middle of the room. The fact that Luna was actually using said desk at the time made this action quite rude. He then used his wand to bring out a chair from his office and to slide Luna's chair, that she was actually still sitting on, to sit at the sides of the desk now central to the room. Luna had not said a word but she looked very shocked at being pulled into the middle of the room via magic. Draco had a marvellous glint in his eye that looked both menacing and somehow attractive. She waited for him to speak.

Draco placed a confident hand on top of the huge pile of papers he'd placed on her desk. "Since you so insist on staying at work passed work hours I expect you to actually do some work and help me with this account" Draco said eyes sparkling with his deviousness. "Well I was planning to do that al-" Luna began but Draco swiftly interrupted her with a finger to her lips. "Bup bup bup no talking" Draco said pleased with himself taking control over the situation. "I want you highlighting every time these papers mention anything about the Worthel account and or the Miriache deal and then passing over all the relevant information to me" Draco said pulling a highlighter pen from his trouser pocket and handing it to his wide eyed assistant. "But Draco I was going to go through the research pa-" Luna tried speaking again but was thwarted by another light touch of Draco's finger over her lips. She was loath to admit to herself the sensation that the slight motion had aroused in her.

"No speaking" Draco said gruffly. Luna furrowed her brow and rolled her eyes at him and Draco gave her an incredulous look. "Please remind me again who is your boss and what the purpose of my hiring you is if not for you to do as I say as I see fit?" Draco said in a patronising voice looking down at his pretty employee. She didn't speak, she only looked up at him. Now Draco's brow furrowed. "I thought you said not to speak" Luna said after a few seconds of silence looking at his expression. Now it was Draco's turn to roll his eyes. "Oh for goodness sake are you a high schooler? You may speak when so addressed" Draco said unwillingly. "Ok Draco" Luna said resigning herself to the fact that she wouldn't be getting to look more at the research papers she'd been working on. Draco was about to remind her that he was to be addressed as sir but he was a worn down man by her constant insistence on not addressing him as such. Instead Draco settled himself down to some work at the desk.

In actuality Luna was not mad at Draco. She rather enjoyed the company of him sitting next to her while working instead of them always being separated by his office door. The quiet companionship was comforting to her. She smiled up at him from her work every now and again, catching glances where she could without being too obvious so as she might be told off by her strange boss.

He was a curious case to her. Something about him so interested her, and she was sure others would fall for him in her novel, or at least her character so based upon him and his charismatic and troublesome ways. She'd never been so reeled in by a character before, and she let herself wonder for a few seconds while completing the menial work of highlighting if it could have something to do with some sort of attraction that she held for him. Of course he was a good looking man, no witch or wizard could argue against that fact, but she found herself feeling overly affected by him and his presence around her, as though he sucked the air from their surroundings, or perhaps created some sort of foggy cloud in Luna's head.... actually perhaps she was just coming down with a cold. Her thoughts were wandering as her eyes wandered systematically at the pages before her back and forth, and every now and again to Draco's face which was slightly covered by his floppy blonde hair which fell neatly in front of his eyes as he looked down at his work sake.
