Lukas walked down the sidewalk, kicking brown leaves as he moved forward. He put his hands in his black hoodie's pocket and breathed in the crisp fall air. Lukas absolutely adored the fall. He loved how the leaves fell to the ground and how the air was just right. He liked all the pumpkin flavored things; pumpkin spiced lattes were what he lived for. Also, the warm and fuzzy sweaters and coffee shops. There was just so much autumn had to offer.

He wasn't watching where he was walking, he was just aimlessly walking down the street looking at the ground. the blonde had a craving for a pumpkin spiced latte, so he decided to get out of his house, finally after a week.

He stayed inside most of the time, he felt like he wasn't good enough for the world.

"Ack!" Lukas looked up instantly as he bumped into someone.

"Oh my god, I'm so so so sorry!" Lukas said anxiously.

The guy had split his coffee all over him and the ground. Lukas's eyes met the other man. He was wearing a grey beanie, and a little bit of light brown hair poking out, it was pretty. He was wearing a black sweater and had sweater paws, Lukas thought it was absolutely adorable.

"Hey, it's alright." The guy smiled. His smile was also adorable.

"Let me buy you another coffee?" Lukas offered, feeling guilty he had made him spill it.

"Oh, are you sure?"

Lukas laughed. "I'm sure. I was heading that way anyways."

"I'm Jesse by the way." Jesse held out his hand. Lukas shook it.

"Lukas."

"Sick." Jesse shyly smiled and walked beside Lukas to the Starbucks a few blocks away.

The walk was uiet, except for the small talk between them about the weather, how cliche. Lukas opened the door for Jesse and Jesse grinned and murmured a thank you.

"So what do you want?" Lukas asked, as they approached the counter to order.

Jesse laughed. "Nope. What do you want? I'm buying for you."

Lukas huffed. "I can't let you do that."

"Sure I can. Why wouldn't I buy a coffee for the cute boy who ran into me." Jesse smirked at Lukas. Lukas blushed and bit his lip.

"Uh, I want a pumpkin spiced latte." Jesse chuckled at Lukas.

"You're such a common white girl, Lukas." Lukas laughed and playfully hit Jesse on the shoulder.

The two males were now sat at the back of the Starbucks chatting away.

"So, Lukas-the guy who doesn't watch where he's walking, tell me a little about yourself." Jesse said resting his chin on his own hand. Lukas smiled.

Lukas was glad he was distracted by the leaves on the sidewalk that day because he had found someone he adored more than autumn itself, or maybe anything else in the world.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed the oneshot! Also, have a safe and spoopy Halloween!
