The boat glided smoothly over the water as I stared into the mist longingly for any hint of warmth from the sun. I pouted when I couldn't find any warmth and curled up into a ball in order to preserve my body heat for Sasayaki, who has been grumpy ever since the mist rolled in. Naruto yelled something about a bridge which got everyone anxious and mad as they scolded him and Kakashi started questioning Tazuna about something I wasn't paying attention to.
"Sakura.." I whispered quietly catching the girl's attention very quickly and motioned for her to come closer which she did.
"What is it Kami-kun?" She asked me curiously and I only shook my head in response, pulling her into a hug.
"I need warmth..." I muttered closing my eyes ignoring her frantic heartbeat as I suddenly grew tired.
"Lord Orochimaru, don't you think that's enough for today? You'll likely kill the child if you continue further." Kabuto's voice rang loudly in my ears as the pain in my body increased tenfold.
"I suppose you're right Kabuto, but I'm almost finished. Just a few more minutes and this child will be the perfect vessel." I struggled weakly against my restraints making my pain increase as the needles in my skin moved with me. I whimpered quietly as I gave up suddenly feeling a hand on my head causing me to freeze.
"Kabuto get the syringes and be ready to hold the child's head in place." I tried to shake my head no as two hands grabbed the side of my head firmly.
"I wouldn't move Kami." Kabuto was smirking, I could feel it.
"He's right you know. Theses needles will have to go directly into both eyes or we'll have to do everything all over again." Orochimaru laughed and my eyes widened from behind my bandages. That was when he plunged both syringes into my eyes and the day he finally got to hear me scream.
"Kami! Wake up, it's time to go." Kakashi shook me awake and I opened my eyes quickly as I almost jumped. Seeing I wasn't moving, Kakashi picked me up and got off the boat setting me down on my feet. I quietly thanked him and started walking along with Naruto and the others. Naruto ran ahead causing my attention to snap to him as he threw a kunai into the bushes causing Sakura to yell at him quite loudly.
"My beautiful blossom, could you please quiet down while scolding my little fox? My head is bursting with pain and I would appreciate it very much." Sakura blushed and nodded, but still glared at Naruto as he kept looking around before he threw another kunai. Frowning I went to the bush and saw a completely horrified white rabbit.
"Naruto! Look what you did!" Sakura yelled as I picked the poor thing off the ground and petted it soothingly.
"I fear we are in danger now." I spoke calmly eyeing the distance cautiously as Kakashi suddenly turned yelling, "Get down!" Letting go of the bunny I quickly let myself fall to the ground as a sword embedded itself in the tree right above my head.
"Kami! Move now!" Kakashi ordered and I did so quickly making my way over to my teammates.
"Zabuza Momochi."
