Shopping with Seiichi was a hassle. Getting things for him as well as the other two was difficult seeing as I didn't have the others with me and Seiichi wouldn't keep still. Not to mention I actually had to buy food since it wasn't just me living in my home anymore. Speaking of which, the three were busy stuffing their faces while I cleaned up the kitchen.
"Kami-kun??" I paused as a few small knocks came from the front causing me to sigh.
"Coming!" Quickly, I made my way to the front and slide open the door to reveal Sakura standing there a little shaky in my opinion.
"Hm? Is there something you needed, Sakura?" I stared at her blankly as she held up a piece of paper which I took with care.
"K-Kakashi sensei signed us all up for the chunin exams.." I studied her face in the faint glow of the porch light.
"You are not sure you can take it, are you? You're doubting yourself." My words seemed to hit her hard and she backed away bringing her hands in front of her, shaking.
"O-of course I'm gonna..." she trailed off looking at the ground.
"Would you like some training Sakura," I offered gently. "Seiichi was wanting to train anyways and I think it'd be good for him to have a partner against me."
"I-I don't think-"
"I insist. We can start tonight without him if you wish." Her cheeks started to heat up.
"S-sure!" I motioned for her to follow me out to the backyard and she did so without hesitation. Honestly I was tired and did not want to spend any time with her, but with how these exams work the team couldn't afford for her to back out. I made my way to one side of the yard leaving her to herself before facing her.
"Sakura. Come at me."
"W-what?"
"Exactly as I said." I stood there patiently waiting for her to attack, but she hesitated beforehand.
"I-I don't-"
"Sakura, hesitation and doubt are what will get you and your teammates killed. You won't hurt me or anything so please, attack me." She nodded slowly.
"A-Alright."
"And Sakura? Use your kunai."
