I gulped clinging to the tree for dear life. My eyes widened. If I let go I would fall to my death or at least break some of my bones for how high up we were. I lost my color and turned pale. About as pale as Shadow Link. I saw everyone crowd around and worry.
"Don't let go!" I heard Vaati shout.
"Hang on!" I heard Tetra shout. I felt someone grab my hand. I turned to look and seen Ezlo, he grabbed my hand. Between the both of us, I regained my balance back on the tree branch.
"Thank you," I said,
"It was nothing, you did save me so I repaid you back," He nodded.
"But you didn't have to do that,"
"But I wanted to," I smiled at Ezlo. He was wise. Both of us climbed down the tree. My feet finally came in contact with the ground and I let go of the breath I was holding. Once I was on the ground Red was the first to run up to me.
"Are you okay, miss?" He asked me with worry coating his voice. I couldn't help but smile. He was such a sweet boy. Brave and heroic at heart. I always wanted someone like him. I always dreamed of having a knight in shining armor one day.
"Yes, I am fine thanks, Red,"
"Thanks for freeing me miss," Ezlo said. I turned and smiled.
"You're very welcome."
"You look like the three heroes,"
"It's confusing really I guess from what I was told I share the Triforce of Courage with the chosen hero." I heard Red yawn and whimper about where we were going to sleep.
"Will you shut up you annoying little brat!" Blue shouted then hit him.
"Excuse me a minute, Ezlo," I said. I turned around and grabbed Blue by the ear and dragged him away from the others. The others watching in surprise. I slapped blue as hard as I could manage upside the head.
"Ow! What the hell?!" He said pissed off.
"How does that feel?" I said crossing my arms glaring at him.
"What was that for?!" He rubbed his head.
"Answer my question!"
"It wasn't pleasant!"
"Now imagine how Red feels when you hit him on the head I said knock that shit off. Did you think I was playing? I don't like jerks like you." I said and walked back to the others.
"Well, you put him in his place, I was waiting for someone to do that," Shadow said with a smirk.
"I don't like hitting, it makes me so sad, I have reasons for not liking it too, I will tell you later tonight once we set up camp somewhere it is getting really late. We need to find firewood and a place to set up camp." I said. I looked over and saw Red leaned against the tree trunk sleeping so peacefully. I heard Blue's footsteps walk back to us. I walked over and carefully and gently picked up the sleeping bundle in my arms and carried him. I let Zelda ride Epona this time.
We finally found a cozy spot in the woods. No monsters, no enemies. Just the tree's surrounding us and the stars and the moon in the sky. I hope to reach Hyrule in time to defeat the Demon King. I sighed. I still had the sleeping hero in my arms. He looked so peaceful and worry-free when he slept. I felt my heart pound. I smiled to myself. As Blue, Vio, and Shadow set up the tents, Zelda went to get some water. Ezlo, Owen, Vaati, and I stayed here and Tetra went out to get some food. I helped Vio set up Red's tent and once that was finished I tucked Red into his sleeping bag inside his tent. I set up a tent next to his so I could keep an eye on him in case anything happens.
