Knight In Red Armor

 I woke up to cold temperatures. Why was it so cold? I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my cape around me tightly.

"Hey, Sam? May I join you I'm cold," I heard Tetra call to me through my tent. Soon joined by Zelda and the rest. Why not we are all cold and it is the only way to stay warm. We all sat in a circle. Red always loved to sit by me. He seemed to be colder than the rest of us after all he had a tunic with an undershirt under it but it wasn't enough. I sat him in front of me and I wrapped my arms around him. We all huddled together in a big circle to try to keep warm.

"Why in Hylia's name is it so cold like this it was almost summer out there yesterday?" Zelda thought out loud. I raised an eyebrow in question also. I felt Red Shiver and I started to shiver too. This was not working.

"This isn't working imbecile!" Blue shouted at Shadow.

"Well, it wasn't my idea you think I knew it wasn't going to work?! I thought it would make us warmer!"

"Guys please don't fight," I saw Red's pleading face and my heart about stopped. That look alone could make me walk a million miles across Hyrule if the Hero asked me too.

"You shut up!" Blue shouted to Red. My face turned into a scowl.

"Yo Blueberry Listen up!" Tetra stated.

"Don't call me that!"

"Want me to knock your ass out! Listen, jerk, you ever want to get somewhere, drop the attitude before I have you begging for mercy I will not repeat myself next time I won't say anything I will just do it! Do I make myself clear?" Tetra practically growled at Blue.

"Who are you-" I couldn't take it anymore. I could not stand him any longer period. Producing a shocked, Blue, Vio, Ezlo, Vaati and everyone else, I picked up Red and handed him to Vio

"Keep him warm," I said. I raised my foot and kicked Blue in the jaw.

"I can't stand people like you learn some respect or get out!" I was seething and almost in tears. I walked back over, picked up red and sat back in my spot and huddled close to Zelda. What was it 0 below freezing out! I peeked out and I noticed that it was dark out. That was funny, The sun was usually high in the sky at this time and why do I smell smoke?! That is when I saw it. It was no longer freezing but to the point where I wanted to jump in the lake and swim to cool off. My eyes widened in alarm. I stumbled backward.

"F-Fire! Fire! Get out of here!" I shouted in a panic. The others managed to scramble to their feet and pack their stuff. I threw my stuff in my bag. I grabbed a whistle that I found on the ground. Vio walked next to me.

"We have to hurry so here," He grabbed it and played it. Five seconds later, Epona came to a halt next to me.

"You guys are gonna have to run fast!" I snatched Red and lifted him on the back of the Horse and I got on there with him. I saw the others start to run.

"Hyah!" I kicked Epona and I had Red hold onto me tight and Epona took off like a bullet right out of the forest. By the time Red and I made it out, everyone was looking back at it.

"Why did it catch on fire like that?" Blue asked.

"Better question, who started it?" Shadow asked. Red and I got off Epona for a minute so I can get a breath. Shadow's question was soon answered when I heard footsteps walk right up behind me. I tensed up and reached for my sword.

"To answer your question Shadow, it was me," I heard the man say. I whirled around and came face to face with Dark Link. I snarled.

"What do you want?" I asked my voice oozing with venom.

"What you hold, of course, you will be coming with me you can come the easy way or I can knock you out. Your choice," He smirked.

"Run!" Shadow whispered in my ear. I turned on my heal and ran. That is running straight into Dark Link.

"Can't outsmart me." He crossed his arms. He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. He turned to walk away and I saw Red, Blue and Vio run straight for me.

"Help!" Red was the first to run to my aid. He stretched his hand and I grabbed it and held his hand like my life depended on it. Who was I kidding if I don't grab Red's hand I would be in the hands of the Demon King himself. Shadow grabbed my other one and both pulled. I took my foot and I kicked as hard as I could and Dark Link dropped me. I ran back to the others shaking. I took my sword that I dropped and I towered over Dark Link. I took the sword and pressed it into his gut causing him to scream in pain and cough up blood.

"Well since this is how it is, there is a white flag you better start waving it! Like right now!"

"The only thing I will be waving is your decapitated head on a stick in front of your weeping master and everyone else!" I said taking the sword out and stabbing him in the heart. I heard Red and Vaati soon say

"Sweet Nayru!" I heard Shadow burst into a fit of giggles. I put my sword back in my shieth and then fell to my knees. That was very scary, I was almost kidnapped. I stood up and whistled for Epona and she came running straight up to me.

"Red, come on, up you go onto Epona," I said. I helped Red up and got up with him.

"Why does he get special treatment?" I heard Blue start to whine.

"It's not special treatment its simple, he wants to stay by my side, remember Red," I snarled at Blue.

"Yeah, I won't leave your side," I smiled. Why did that make me happy? I was the first to take a lead when I stopped again when Zelda stopped and was petting a white horse.

"Is that your horse, Zelda?" I asked.

"Yeah," Zelda then trotted up next to Epona.

"Hey, you!" Zelda smiled at me. "Now both of us have horses!"

"Yes, we do," I returned her smile. "We should get going." I took the lead with Zelda in tow with the others. Little did I know I wouldn't be with them anymore.
