I pulled back from Maurice and looked at JD's unconscious body in disgust. Maurice looked where I was looking before looking back at me.

"Don't worry, I can take care of this." He said with a grin. I shook my head.

"No, he's my ex, my responsibility, I should be the one to fix this." I said, nudging JD with my foot. Nothing.

"No, you need to lay down and get some rest. Trust me, babe, I got this." Maurice insisted and I sighed.

"Fine." I mumbled and looked at him, "Don't call me babe."

"You haven't scratched my eyes out yet so I doubt you'll do anything." He smirked before crouching down and lifting JD's body over his shoulder, "Jeez, what'd he have for breakfast, the moon?" He asked with a grunt and I laughed quietly. He walked over to my bed, which lifted. He turned to me and pointed a finger at me, "Don't have too much fun without me." He smirked, letting JD's body fall through the floor before hopping through himself. I rolled my eyes and got in bed, scrolling through my phone. After about fifteen minutes, my eyes widened as I realized that I still needed to show Maurice the video from the other day. I thought for a moment before standing up and lifting my bed manually. I felt the floor, but like before, my hand went through the floor. I pulled it back once then did the same thing to make sure I wasn't delusional.

After the past few weeks, I doubted I wasn't imagining everything.

My hand once again went through the floor and I smiled, standing up. I put on a hoody and actual jeans rather than the shorts I was wearing before going back, putting my hand through the floor once more.

This time, something grabbed a hold of my hand and pulled me down. I squeaked as I landed in Maurice's arms, like I had so many times before. He grinned before his facial expression changed like he had remembered something grimm.

"I have something to show you." He said, setting me down. I raised an eyebrow.

"What is it?" I asked suspiciously. I wondered what he had done with JD.

"All I'm gonna say is you choose the strangest boy toys." He said and began walking. I felt my cheeks heat up as I followed him, creating sweater paws with my hoodie.

"He's not a boy toy. He's not even my friend anymore." I muttered under my breath. I saw Maurice smirk slightly before turning and running up a staircase. I tried to keep up as he jumped up into another room. I did the same soon after, looking around. I saw JD on a bed and furrowed my eyebrows, "Okay, so why are we here?" I asked in confusion and Maurice walked to the other side of the room.

I walked up behind him, looking over his shoulder to see him looking at blueprints. From the looks of it, they were blueprints to build a bomb. He also had a lighter, which I grabbed and lit before stuffing in my pocket. Hopefully he won't miss it too much.

"So why does he have these?" I asked, looking through drawers. Maurice shrugged, having just as little a clue as me, "Can you destroy them?" I asked with a small devious smirk. He grinned and let out a chuckle before telling me to go find something else. I nodded and turned, looking through other drawers. I found something that looked like a note and raised an eyebrow, picking it up.

It was addressed to someone named Evan but never sent. I shrugged, ripping it up before throwing the bits back in the drawer, turning back to Maurice to see the blueprints torn up as if a dog had gotten them. I smiled and took out the lighter from my pocket, holding it under them just enough to burn them slightly but not for them to to up in flames. I grinned as Maurice put it back where we had found them and grabbed my hand, pulling me under the bed.

"Thanks." I said again, whether it was because he had caught me again or because of JD was unknown to even me. It may have been both.

"What for?" he asked, not slowing down his pace as we started walking through the underworld.

"Trying to scare me." I said with a smile, turning and walking in the direction of the arcade.

We had been in the Arcade for maybe half an hour before I groaned, leaning back. I would've ate something but the sweets had become too much, plus I'd rather not put on the weight. The games got repetitive and I wasn't even sure I wanted to know what monster ball is.

An idea popped into my head and I smirked, popping up and running through the crowd to find Maurice, who had once again wandered off and left me alone. Since the first night, I had gotten over most of the anxiety of being alone here, but I still had my original anxiety of being alone anywhere.

"Maurice!" I called, repeating it a few more times. My shoulder brushed against someone. I turned to apologize but whoever it was was already gone. I shrugged it off and turned, almost running smack into a chest with a quick inhale of air. I looked up to see Maurice and let out the breath.

"You called?" He asked with a grin and I nodded, grabbing his hand.

"Come with me, I had an idea."

"So have you ever had a monster girl friend? Or a girl friend in general?" I asked before gasping and covering my mouth, "Wait do you have a girlfriend?" I asked, hiccuping afterwards before giggling at my own hiccup. He laughed at my state, still not drunk even though he had drank twice as many beers as me and I was drunk off my ass.

"Of course I have! I mean, I don't have one now, but I definitely have my eye on someone." He answered with a grin. I nodded.

"Oh." I said, trying not to let myself sound as upset as I was, "Hey, open your mouth." I said and he did as I said. I looked at his teeth before poking them, causing him to shut his mouth.

"What? What's wrong with my mouth?" He asked, pouting slightly, but looking more confused than anything. I giggled as the question ran around in my head.

"If you tried to give a girl a hickey, would it make her bleed?" I asked after my giggle fit, only causing me to laugh more as I took another swig.

"Depends on how big and bad I want the hickey to be." He smirked and I nodded, scooting closer to him. I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"Let's play a game!" I shouted after a moment of silence, sitting up before covering my mouth and apologizing quietly. He smiled, taking a sip of his drink.

"All right, what game?"
