4. I DO THIS THING...(EDITED)

Stan's POV

I stood there, with  the rest of my best friends, dumbfounded as this girl shoved THE Henry Bowers back and told him off. She came literally out of nowhere and saved us from some serious physical damage. I watched as Bowers trudged away, probably slightly embarrassed, and drove away from school with the rest of his gang. Mystery girl flipped him off as he disappeared down the street. She then put a hand on Bill's shoulder, and spoke to him in a sweet tone. WAY different how she just spoke to the school's biggest bully.

"Are you okay? He's a real jerk huh?" Bill only nodded and looked down. He just wasn't use to speaking with girls I guess. I mean, none of us Losers really were. 

"I-i-it's fine. T-t-thank you...." He trailed off, not knowing what her name was. 

"(y/n) (y/l/n). Nice to meet you guys." She flashed a smile that showed off her pearly white teeth. 

I'd seen her around campus before, with Sadie Byers and Millie Wheeler. Sadie was known for her fiery red hair and so -called "perfect" appearance. People often talked about her brother as well, who had gone missing just a few weeks ago. She didn't show up to school for a couple days, but when she came back her attitude was the same. It was if she wasn't even the least bit affected by Will's disappearance! Millie on the other hand was okay. I've never really got to know her, but she was smart and outgoing. She was a little too loud in third period Social Studies (the class I had with her) but her intentions were always good. 

"N-n-nice to m-m-meet you (y/n)." Bill blushed and glanced down again.

"Yeah thanks for saving our asses hot stuff." She raised and eyebrow at Richie's unnecessary side comment and I simply rolled my eyes.

"Uh you'll have to excuse him. He's just a b-b-it rude..." I was surprised to hear Eddie stutter, he was probably just as nervous as a Bill. I scoffed and spoke up.

"A bit?" A small giggle escaped (y/n)'s lips and I smiled at her. She was awful gorgeous....

"Well stay out of trouble. I can't be here for your asses all the time." She winked at Richie and he flashed a cocky grin. (y/n) waved and began to walk past us towards a picnic table that Millie and Sadie were standing at. 

"W-w-well maybe we'll s-s-see you around this s-s-summer!" Bill called out to her and she turned around grinning from ear to ear. 

"My dad's a little strict on me hanging out with a bunch of boys. But of course! Just let me know when I guess." 

"How are you gonna get past daddy though?" Richie adjusted his glasses, only to have them knocked off by Eddie. I punched his arm for good measure as well, which cause another sugary laugh from Jenny. She spoke once more before Sadie boarded a bus and Millie started walking next to her. 

" Well I do this thing.......It's called whatever the hell I want."
