lex p.o.v~
it had been 12 hours since I have been tied up and left in Gerard's basement. he keeps telling me he is going to let me out, but I feel like it is just lie after lie. I heard the door slowly creek open.
"Gerard?" I asked groggily
"no it's me Frank." He said in a whisper voice.
"please tell me you are here to get me out." I asked
"yes I am but we have to move quick. Gerard's keeping Emily busy."
Frank unlocked my chains the hard metal hitting the floor.
"hurry we have to go." Frank said taking me by the hand
we quickly walked up the stairs and through the door. Frank looked around the now silent house.
"where is Gerard?" I whispered
"he and Emily are upstairs." Frank said
my heart sank. the thought of them together made me angry. we ran over to the door Frank flung the door open. we ran to the car and got in the whole drive over there my mind was just in chaos mode. besides the low music Frank had on the drive was pretty silent. after what seemed like an hour Frank finally spoke.
"Gerard wanted me to give you this." he said handing me a folded paper.
I started to open our when Frank stopped me.
"he said you should read our when we got to the safe house."
I nodded and our the paper in my jeans pocket.
"where are rose and Emma?" I asked still slightly weak
"they are safe with Mikey we will be arriving soon." Frank said with a sly smile
"can you please tell me what is going on?"
Frank looked to his side then back on the road. "I promise lex when I get you to the safe house we will explain everything."
after another hour of driving we were at a small cabin in the woods. Frank stopped the car and put our into park. we got out I took some time to look around at the tall trees surrounding us. the smell of the crisp air made me feel at ease. Frank and I entered the cabin where a crying Emma and rose greeted me. they jumped off the couch and put me in to a huge hug.
"lex thank God you are okay." Emma said through the sobs
"we thought you were gone." rose said still hugging me
"it's okay we are going to be fine now."I lied
truth was I didn't know how long we had until Emily noticed I was gone. she would come looking and I would be the first one she would kill.
after 30 minutes of crying and talking Frank handed me some clean clothes and a towel so I could shower. the small bathroom in the cabin was cozy even if it looked like it had nor been used in a while I could hear the sound of crickets chattering away in the night. after looking in the mirror and seeing the disaster I was I finally ran the shower and hopped in. the warm water felt amazing I just stood under the water for what seemed like forever. just thinking about Gerard caused me to cry. why did he do this to me? it's he lying when he said he wanted out?or is it just a ploy? I had to ask the guys questions. I was hoping more than anything I would get the answers.
I got out of the shower and got dressed as I picked up my clothes off the floor the letter from Gerard fell out. I had been so emotional with every one I forgot about the letter. I placed my clothes on the sink and Sat down at the edge of the tub. I was almost afraid to read the letter, but I had to have the answers I was looking for.
