chapter 13: it was always you

A/N: so I just want to say thank you for the views and votes you everyone is just  so awesome. I also want to say sorry if some of the writing does not make sense I have a new phone and I am trying to adjust to it. :)

I unfolded the piece of paper and began to read what Gerard had written.

lex,

let me begin this letter by saying I am so sorry for everything that has happened. I didn't know what I wanted till I met you. I thought being immortal would change my life, but instead I have become a monster. I plan on killing Emily, but I will need your help. Frank will fill you in with the instructions I have given him. I will see you tonight please be patient. I love you

A big part of me was shocked. He loves me? I had to keep reminding myself that I was just his student and that this was what it was. Now he loves me and I possibly have to kill a vampire. This is not how I imagined my college career going. with a heavy sigh I folded the letter and put it in my pocket. when I walked back out into the living room everyone looked up arty me with wide eyes.

"what is it?" I asked

Frank spoke first

"well it is hard to tell you what is going on."

"yeah they are going to be here in couple of hours." Mikey said

"so what do I do?" I asked

Frank sat me down and explained to me that Emily needed my blood to stay young. vampires are attracted to a certain type of blood and when they smell it they will do whatever it takes to get it. She let Rose and Emma go because they didn't have what she needed.

"So what do I need to do?" I almost hesitated to ask. Already knowing full well what the answer would be.

Frank looked up at me with his big hazel eyes. " you will have to be chained back up until she gets here. There is also the chance she will be able to over power us and she will kill you."

The look on everyone's face made me feel a little sick. I want everything to go back to normal. I stood there in silence and nodded in agreement. Emma and Rose got up from the couch and have me a hug you could see the tears filling their eyes.

"Don't cry even if I don't make you will get to live."  I smiled trying to choke down my tears "hey listen if I die please make it look like an accident so my parents won't take is to hard."

They nodded in agreement and sat back down. Frank and Mikey took me me to a room inn the back of the house laid me down on the bed and strapped me to the bed posts. Tears silently fell down my cheeks Frank sat down next to me and word away the tears with his hand.

"For what it is worth Gerard never faked liking you." Frank said

"Yeah I hadn't seen him so happy." Mikey chimed in

They both walked out leaving me alone in this dark room. As I lay there all I could think about was my friends and family their smiling faced plagued my thoughts. Gerard somehow kept creeping into my mind as well his hazel eyes almost peering into my brain. It almost felt as if he was in the room with me. I was just imaging things now all that was left was for me lay there in silence and wait for death.

A/N: hey everyone sorry this chapter sucked and was short.... I kind of have writers block next chapter will hopefully be a lot better
